  • 5/5 from Maggie Lo, attended Jul 2026: My friend and I had the loveliest time at this mosaics class. Daisy was an incredible teacher; so supportive but also left us to lock into our creativity! My tips would be to have an idea of what you’d like to do beforehand and also be mindful of the complexity of the design, otherwise time just flies by!

  • 5/5 from Ned Jones, attended Jun 2026: If you’re looking for a fun evening with an excellent instructor and a great craft you can take home on the day, this is it. Our instructor, Daisy, was excellent. Her instructions were clear and simple, she answered any questions we had, and she was extremely amicable and lovely to have a chat with. Our group ranged in craft experience but none of us had tried mosaics before, and we had a blast! Our class happened to fall on the hottest day of the year so far, and we all felt comfortably cool throughout, and were offered a large range of refreshments. Would highly recommend, and we enjoyed it so much we very much intend on going again.
  • 5/5 from Merryl Varghese, attended Jun 2026: My instructor was great - very detailed but also let us explore and figure out what works best for us. She gave quick tips on what we could do differently and what would work well based on her experiences. We had a group of people who were at varying levels of skill and that helped to see different types of designs emerge
  • 5/5 from Jacques Foex, attended Jun 2026: Brilliant session, really friendly and easy to get stuck into. Wish we had more time as we both went a bit too ambitious with our design, but lots of support to finish it all at home
  • 5/5 from Karla Camacho-Willey, attended May 2026: I went for a Mosaic class with John. What a nice bloke, knowledgeable, pleasant, attentive. Love him. I asked for him to demonstrate how to do the grout on a piece. He did it, which was great to have an idea as we have to do it ourselves. I really enjoyed, the atmosphere were great. A drink is a nice touch.
  • 5/5 from Deborah Crawford, attended May 2026: Our teacher for the session was Daisy. She was amazing. Very friendly and approachable. She clearly explained what we needed to do. Provided support where needed. And answered my many questions. I have left with a lovely mosaic tile and achieved much more than I thought would be possible. Thoroughly recommend this class.

  • 5/5 from Emelia Macdonald, attended Apr 2026: We adored our class! Quite a few of us are considering pursuing mosaics now and we had so much fun. Great music, a wonderful patient teacher and a really lovely studio and environment. Everything was really well thought out and it was very much worth the money. 10/10 would do again!
  • 5/5 from Olivia Mitchell, attended Apr 2026: such a wonderful class, both teachers were so helpful and supportive - special thanks to ruby for the lovely conversation about pursuing art. the mosaic making was easy to pick up, the only problem we faced was running out of time, so try to plan ahead and make sure you leave time for cleaning up!!
  • 4/5 from Virginia Stuart-Taylor, attended Apr 2026: It was a super class. I really like the mosaic I made, althuogh was rushing towards the end so maybe less instruction at the start and more time for the mosaic itself. They give us the grout to take and do at-home, which was actually quite amessya nd time-consuming job. In my case I wish I'd had a choice of a few different grout colours, as the grey colour given out to everyone doesn't look great with my mosaic. But overall great to try out a new craft!
  • 5/5 from Hannah Silverstein, attended Mar 2026: Such fun searching through all the baskets of tiles and glass and creating some mosaics! Also, the venue is great and they do so many community events plus sell things in ther little shop too. Overall great little company/org and a fab workshop!
  • 5/5 from Emma Jolly, attended Mar 2026: I had such a fun experience in this mosaic class! The instructions were clear and easy to follow, and our teacher was incredibly patient and encouraging throughout. The studio itself was lovely and welcoming, and we had full access to all the materials we could possibly need. On top of that, the little touches like biscuits and refreshments made the session even more enjoyable.
  • 5/5 from Monica Atkinson, attended Mar 2026: John was a fabulous art teacher who helped us (beginning mosaic students) through a wonderful 2.5 hour class. The studio is a gorgeous, inspiring place with all the materials beautiful organized to help students create amazing pieces of art. John knows how to support his new students and provided so much knowledge, skill, technique and inspiration. I highly recommend this studio and instructor to anyone interested in learning something new or to any talented artist. I am very happy to support their cause as they contribute greatly to their local community.
  • 5/5 from Emma Crum, attended Mar 2026: New hobby unlocked! Spent a lovely evening crafting away with a friend. Hosts were super informative, helpful, and friendly. Already thinking about which mosaic I'll make next! Thank you so much.
  • 5/5 from Hannah Halley, attended Feb 2026: I really enjoyed this class! I was proud of the mosaic I made and it was fun to learn a new skill. It was quite difficult to find initially, but it’s a great space and community.

  • 5/5 from Ashley Newman, attended Jan 2026: Excellent Teachers that give great support and help if you need it. The class provides little snacks and drinks, the class size is not too big and you get individual attention. Also they provide lots of books and drawings to get your inspiration from. Well worth attending my friend and i thoroughly enjoyed the session.
  • 5/5 from Shani, attended Dec 2025: Teacher was phenomenal. Even when I picked something completely unachievable for a beginners class, he still let me go forward and make my own mistakes. Cat still came out awesome thank you (Picture is during the class not the finished product)
  • 5/5 from Devin Rathod, attended Dec 2025: Workshop was really good, time flew by but it was a lot of fun! Both teachers were very friendly, always happy to help and taught the workshop very well. • 5/5 from Polly Dryden, attended Aug 2025: Absolutely loved this class. Delighted with my mosaic and looking forward to grouting it. Teacher was helpful, patient and fun! Would 100% recommend. Snacks and drinks and materials all perfect
  • 4/5 from Hannah Brooks, attended Aug 2025: Teachers, atmosphere and resources were lovely! Top tip though, don’t attempt a complex design (and it helps to think in advance of what you might want to make, so you don’t waste too much time deciding). There will not be enough time to finish anything too complex! Although we still had fun, unfortunately my dad and I actually felt predominantly stressed to progress with the mosaic against the clock, instead of enjoying it fully and doing it as a relaxing quality time activity!! I ended up having to finish my mosaic much simpler and less artistic than my vision, and my dad was able to finish his at home with the pieces he took home, but also compromising on the design…
  • 5/5 from Camila Ugarte, attended Jul 2025: Loved the class and teacher! A lovely atmosphere, very relaxing and very fun! We learnt how to cut glass and ceramic tiles and had enough time to finish our masterpieces. The snacks and wine were also appreciated!
  • 5/5 from Billie Bonham, attended Jun 2025: Really great class. It was informative, John was a great teacher and made us fee so welcome. Loved the freedom we were given for the design and the advice on colours and other design aspects were much appreciated! Would highly recommend and will hopefully be back soon.
  • 5/5 from Bethany Field, attended May 2025: This was a great mosaic class, I really enjoyed it. Daisy was a kind and patient teacher. I enjoyed being able to use precut tiles or cut tiles myself to make my design. I was given some grout and instructions and grouted my piece at home the following day.
  • 5/5 from Sarah Trodden, attended May 2025: Lovely chilled vibe. Free rein of the tiles and creativity was flowing. Good refreshments and help with time management to make sure the projects were all finished! I really recommend!
  • 5/5 from Cici Spahr, attended May 2025: Such a good experience, very nice atmosphere and gentle instructors. Plenty of guidance.
  • 5/5 from Jill Wood, attended May 2025: The teacher and assistant were so warm, friendly and welcoming. The teacher's instructions were clear and concise and he was very helpful when anyone needed assistance. I really enjoyed the class and would thoroughly recommend it to friends.
  • 5/5 from Rosalind Mutch, attended May 2025: John is an excellent teacher. Very supportive and encouraging. His assistant Evie was also extremely helpful. It is great that there is a very big selection of mosaic tiles to choose from. The books and examples of other designs were useful. I also appreciated the tea, coffee and snacks which were offered. I had an interesting evening and learnt a great deal.
