Come along and let talented crafter, Melanie, teach you how to emboss cool designs onto pewter. During the class, you will make a raised, framed letter as well as a beautiful unique bookmark which will be coloured with inks.
Let Melanie dish out all her top tips and techniques as you get hands-on with a range of handheld tools. You'll learn both low and high relief embossing on sheet pewter, which will then be aged and polished.
Absolutely no artistic or crafting ability is needed as you will have your teacher's support throughout as well as stencils for your designs.
By the end of this beginner-friendly craft class, you will then have a beautiful box-framed pewter initial to take away with you as well as your embellished bookmark. Give as cute handmade gifts or keep them for yourself to admire!

In the studio, I create hand embossed pewter items such as journals, keepsake boxes and original mixed media canvases. I love to draw my inspiration from architecture and sculptural forms and work from photographs that I have taken on my travels.
