We are located at CRATE Loughton. Our closest station is Debden underground on the Central Line. Once you exit the station head left down station approach to the main road called Chigwell Lane. To the left will be a crossing which you will need to cross. Once you are on the other side of the road turn left and walk past The Hive cafe (The Hive should be on the right of you as you walk). Head to the crossroad and turn right onto Oakwood Hill and then the first right into Oakwood Hill Industrial Estate. The entrance is straight ahead under the automatic shutters where Crate Coffee is located.

Craft has been my passion for as long as I can remember. As a young girl, I was always drawn to creative projects, losing myself in the joy of making things with my hands. But like many of us, I followed a more traditional path when it came to my career, becoming a Secretary/PA and dedicating many years to that role.Throughout my working life, I always turned to craft as an outlet, especially during challenging times. Crafting became more than just a hobby—it became a form of therapy for me, something I relied on to manage stress and support my mental health. Whether it was, Jewellery making, Jesmonite or macramé, I found that creating something with my hands gave me a sense of peace and fulfilment that was hard to find elsewhere.It wasn’t until later in life that I decided to take the leap and turn this passion into something more. Craft@25 was born out of a deep desire to share the same joy and sense of well-being that craft has brought me over the years. I wanted to create a space where people could slow down, reconnect with their creativity, and experience the calming effects of making something beautiful.Now, through Craft@25, I’m able to combine my love for crafting with a purpose—helping others find the same comfort, joy, and peace in it that I have. Whether you’re completely new to crafting or have been doing it for years, I’m here to guide you and share the wonderful world of handmade art.
