As well as learning the steps, during this online cooking class, you'll also get the stories and secrets behind this heritage recipe.
Your friendly teacher, Christiane, grew up in Martinique, a beautiful Caribbean Island where they speak French and Patois.
Food in Martinique is an excuse for a celebration. When Christiane is making food now in London, she says she literally feels like back home – all the “drums, Calypso, steel pans, carnival”. She believes that sharing recipes is a way for her to be proud of what she represents, and where she comes from.
During this fun and friendly live-streaming cook-along, you'll learn all of Christiane's secret culinary tips and tricks – so don't worry if you're new to the kitchen.
At the end of this wonderful at-home cooking class, you'll have a flavourful meal to devour and plus some new Caribbean cooking tips and tricks.
