Recent reviews of Indian Cooking Class

  • 5/5 from Judy Bruning, attended Jul 2026: This class exceeded all expectations! It was a very informative hands-on experience. We all felt it was the best cooking class and demonstration we’ve had. Our teacher was top notch, entertaining, and very knowledgeable.
  • 5/5 from Timothy Salfarlie, attended May 2026: Enjoyed the class and the food turned out great. Palak paneer and parathas were amazing and I definitely think I will be able to reproduce the same delicious food in my own kitchen.
  • 5/5 from Joanne Gill, attended Mar 2026: Fantastic class, lots of easy and essential skills learned that I will apply to all my cooking in future
  • 5/5 from Lydia Morfett-Murdock, attended Nov 2025: On the suggestion of my daughter we signed up for this class, so glad we did. What a fabulous evening we had. It is a must-do for everyone. The staff were excellent, so calm and nothing flustered them. The main man Dan, was clear in his delivery of instruction, including health tips along the way. We were on a work station with a couple, T** and J****, great fun, especially as we toasted ourselves many times clinking our glasses of wine and congratulating how we had managed to prepare, cook and enjoy our dishes. Everything is weighed out ready so it’s a ready steady go! Go on, book an experience today - I guarantee you’ll be booking again.
  • 5/5 from Irene Holmes, attended Jul 2025: I picked up so many tips and hints and it was fun learning in the process. The end result was delicious.
  • 5/5 from Mark Lomas, attended Jul 2025: I would thoroughly recommend this cooking class; it is a brilliant way to spend 3 hours! The teacher was excellent; very clear and moved things along at the right speed, giving extra help where needed. The food we made was delicious and there were separate dishes for me as a vegetarian. The aloo gobi was delicious and I am amazed at how simple it was to make awesome parathas. There were just the right number of people in the room (11), so you could still get personal attention. And, the wine on the table was a very welcome bonus! The whole morning was excellent.
  • 4/5 from Majda Abderrafi, attended Jul 2025: Had a really enjoyable experience overall! The atmosphere was vibrant, and the team made everyone feel welcome and at ease. The session was fun and well-run, very professional, and the food turned out great. The only small downside was that I was expecting to cook on my own, but instead we were paired with a partner, which I hadn’t anticipated.
  • 2/5 from Glenn Kubiak, attended May 2025: The instructor knew how to cook, but had limited Indian-specific knowledge. Spice blends were prepared in advance with no discussion regarding "why" the spices were selected, why the proportion of spices was important, or how the individual spices affect the overall flavor. Additionally there was essentially no discussion of how to prepare the spices...which is essential to Indian cooking. I am already a very competent cook, and walked away having learned very little compared to when I arrived. I had a fun time, but I was generally disappointed in the class. I would not use this vendor again.
  • 5/5 from Matthew Appleby, attended Jan 2025: Great food, chefs were great fun Gee especially. Recommend the Indian cooking course for sure
  • 5/5 from Richard Green, attended Nov 2024: This was a gift from my son as I love Indian food. The teacher was fantastic, very knowledgeable and gave us the technical understanding behind the cooking processes we were using. The layout was great with everything you needed ready to hand. Great value for money, brilliant and fun atmosphere and very, very pleased with my first authentic Indian food. Definitely recommend
  • 5/5 from Eva Suarez, attended Jun 2024: My wife's got me this as a present and get rid of me for a while... Now she will enjoy a great curry for free everytime I cook it. Life it's so unfair! Thanks god I LOVE curry! Loads of jokes, wine, great tips and fantastic food and even some flames too. Amazing experience!
  • 5/5 from Kelly Martinson, attended Jan 2024: Very knowledgeable, instructive class with great food as end result. Like that we cooked for ourselves (va cooking for group to share)
