Perfect for tea lovers, curious beginners, and anyone looking to slow down and enjoy a mindful experience, no previous experience is needed.What you'll do
- Taste a curated selection of premium Japanese matcha while learning how it is grown, stone-ground, and traditionally prepared.
- Compare different matcha grades, origins, and flavour profiles through a guided tasting.
- Learn to whisk matcha using traditional tools and techniques under Mariko's expert guidance.
- Discover the timeless art of Ikebana, the Japanese practice of flower arranging that celebrates harmony, seasonality, and simplicity.
- Create your own elegant Ikebana arrangement using a traditional kenzan (pin frog), guided by Sally.

- 5/5 from Parry Chu, attended Mar 2026: Such a lovely, intimate hen do experience ️ Sally’s ikebana workshop was beautiful – she brought along seasonal flowers handpicked on the day and was very attentive! She also shared her knowledge on the history and principles of ikebana and made sure everyone felt looked after Mariko’s matcha session was just as delightful – engaging, and we got to whisk our own matcha while tasting two different varieties. She also treated us to homemade matcha cake and a delicious yuzu sweet from Japan So if you’re looking for something cute, relaxing, and a bit different, we'd definitely recommend! Just remember to bring your own container to take your flower arrangement home – or Sally can wrap it up for you like a bouquet
