Whether you want to enjoy crafting from the comfort of your own home or you’re looking to meet new people as you get making, these craft workshops offer something for everyone.

Most of our workshops are led by colleagues from Hobbycraft stores across the UK, including craft experts from our Hobbycraft Artisan programme. They use their expertise in specific areas of craft to create workshops that show participants new skills and inspire future projects.

Beginner's Guide to Sawgrass Sublimation (Greenwich)

At the start we encounterd tech issues (wi-fi connection to print) no fault to the tutor.

ARIANA (tutor) - simply put AMAZING A real credit to HC Greenwich team! provided stellar service throughout, engaging whilst working on the tech issues. We eventually sublimated a mug - she demomstrated extensive knowledge of the sawgrass SG500 and imparted lots of tips, tricks on using the machine and materials best suited for it.

I left the store feeling more inspired to craft and create and kick the habit of creative burnout and procrastination!

Marsha is extremely knowledgeable, even though she said it was the 1st time using my type of sawing machine (Uten). I felt comfortable and safe in the room provided, and material was on hand too. The hour went quickly so I will be booking a 2nd session as it's value for money.

Had a brilliant 1 to 1 with Iñes.
Iñes was excellent at explaining the cricut design space and showing me how to do a number of things. She helped me with a project that I was working on and provide the materials to do so. I picked up so many tricks and tips within the hour. Will definitely book again

My daughter (7 yo) really enjoyed the personalised canvas painting workshop. The teacher (I believe her name was Sam) was very friendly and welcoming. She explained how to do the masking tape and guided her through painting, being very helpful and engaging. An hour of fun activity with all the materials provided making it a great value for money.

I was disappointed with this class they’re normally really good. No warning that it involved paint so I could have brought aprons for the kids, nowhere to wash or clean hands, paint was still wet on the baubles when we finished and we weren’t given anything to put them in so paint just got everywhere

I attended the workshop never having marbled anything in my life! Ines (Greenwich tutor) was very informative and helpful and demonstrated just how easy it is. Best thing about marbling is that it has a mind of it's own and the result isn't guaranteed! I've ended up with a bunch of baubles that'll end up on the tree so a successful outcome!

I booked on the xmas wreath workshop and it was so enjoyable! Marianne was a very good tutor, very friendly and patient and shock of shocks, I actually made a decent wreath! The resources provided were perfect to try out wreath making and definitely good enough to display proud this xmas! Definitely good value for money.

This was such an excellent introduction to sewing. Sylvy went through everything and I got a chance to set up the machine as well as all the settings. She also took me through the basics of putting a zip in. She has a lot of tips and I really look forward to continuing this skill.

We love these workshops at Greenwich as they are in a room upstairs, not on the shop floor, so it feels more private. Would definitely recommend these workshops at Greenwich. Chloe was really encouraging and supportive. She provided all colours and step by step guidance to my 4 years old daughter creating butterfly. Chloe was also telling us how much time left which helped us to create butterfly and caterpillar timely. She was kind enough to show us around where the clay was in the shelf to buy for home. The whole environment was amazing and helpful. Even the security person was helpful who took us upstairs as we were late. We learnt a lot. Thank you everyone at Hobbycraft Greenwich park.

Marsha was a wonderful teacher. She taught me what I needed to learn to start my new journey in Sewing. She made me feel totally at ease as I am a complete beginner. She was patient and very encouraging. The classroom was private, and cosy. I learned to wind a bobbin, thread the machine, and did basic stitching on practice material. Marsha gave me some practice sheets to bring home and helped me pick some material and a couple of items that I would need. Thank you so much Marsha

I made an Easter wreath. I am so happy with the result. The teacher was great and very helpful. Only 2 in the class which was good.
The only thing…although not a problem……is it might be nice to have all the items to go on the wreaths as individual items instead of bunches you have to pick apart yourself……you would then have longer wires on them to wrap round the wreath.

Marsha was a terrific teacher. I needed to get a handle on how to use a machine I picked up, have never sewed a stitch in my life. Marsha went through it all thoroughly and then had me have a go too. There are vids of how to get it set up, but it doesn't go over every nuance, I'm sure I would have missed some things if I'd only relied on that. Bottom line, if you have zero experience this is a great way to get started.

Workshop was in the middle of the shop. No signs to tell other customers that a workshop was going on. Kept being interrupted by customers. Wasn't given an apportunity to practice anything on the cricut. Just sat there and listened. Pretty much what I can do on very good YouTube tutorials Didn't learn very much at all Wouldn't recommend this to anyone else.

One of the best Hobby craft I’ve been! ( Hobbycraft Greenwich)

First time I’ve tried a cricut class and it was a success.
I’ve learned a lot and my questions had been answered professionally and with an extra recommendations of which sort of things is best for the craft project you will be making.

I huge thank you to Ariana “she is a star” she teaches really well and easy to understand.
She gave me inspirational thoughts of what projects I can do with my cricut maker 3.

Also Thank you to Marga from the till, she noticed my address was different from the info they have and approached me to change it.
Such a lovely staff.

This will be my favourite Hobbycraft site.
Very organise and cheerful staff.
Definitely recommending for you guys to try the class.
Looking forward for my next class.

We had Rachel as our teacher and she was lovely. She was friendly and welcoming and my son warmed to her. This was great as my son can be quite shy when meeting people for the first time. She gave us a pot and a box to put our creations and beads in which was helpful for our journey home. We learnt how to make the sun catchers and even have spare to use so we can complete it when we get home to make bunting for our window. We would definitely like to participate in a few more workshops.

Very disappointing. The website says that at the workshop kids will be all set to bring a beautiful painting and learn all about acrylic painting using different materials. However, my daughters only received a canvas and markers to paint for 1h. Although very friendly, the professional who accompanied them did not teach anything. Not worth the money.

The Teacher was brilliant and very patient.
I came from the class feeling more confident than when I started.
The venue is good, the only problem is that because you are in the middle of the shop floor, the Teacher getsask for help from customers, which she had to explaine to them that she was doing a class.
I think it is well worth the money and I would definitely book with her again. Thank you

Don’t remember the name but the black skin lady who was training me was really helpful and knew how to approach a person who is literaly taking a sewing class for the first time. She really helped me realise things and a bit believe in myself and I think that was the best thing which happend to me in last month. One more time big thank you for showing me everything from the begging and no judgments, just being positive, productive and professional. Arianna in Greenwich showed me how to make a card with smooth glitter paper, an insert and how to write using the pen.

Like last week, I bought additional materials with my Hobbycraft card.

I'm on the wait list for the Design Space workshop. Can't wait to learn more!

Excellent, the member of staff was kind, very patient, and, showed me everything I wanted to know. I would recommend 100%. If I had known about these classes, I would have invested in a sewing machine a long time ago. The sewing machine I brought there was a reasonable price for what I needed it for.

My Cricut beginners lesson today was good, thanks to the teacher Ariana who was very thorough with her explanations. She was fun and friendly and made me feel at ease with all the new content. I really enjoyed my hour with her and am excited to start using my machine.

The teacher was amazingly welcoming and made the children relax from the start. All materials were provided and there was more than enough for each child to have plenty! The teacher worked through what to do and encouraged the kids. Great value for money and another amazing workshop.

My child had an amazing time, the venue is lovely, super quiet and comfortable, the teacher is so nice and encouraging, she is very patient and great with kids. They gave my child quality materials and lots of it. Overall I believe the value for money is great. Thank you! We felt really welcome.

Really great experience, I've used a machine before but not for a long time, and I had never done buttonholes this class has given me the confidence to get back to my machine, Marsha was a great teacher, who also advised me on new needles and threads to get me started amazing value for money, I will be back for more

I didnt feel this was a workshop, we didn’t have any guidance of how to build the wreath, the shop Manager leaded the workshop He is such a lovely person but I don’t think he ever has done any krafts. I felt I just paid to go and sit down in a room with some others and that’s it. Materials provided were good.
For me a workshop is to get some guidance no just to sit down and chit chat. I haven’t even finished the wreath as I will have to watch some DIY videos.

The teacher was nice and pleasant. The room was ok. Materials were useful. The price was a little on the expensive side. Myself and daughter made Christmas Wreaths.

Would have like more time as the class felt a bit rushed

Not much tuition given, just get on with it. Shame as could have done with some guidance. Not enough items to decorate in the frosted box, plastic leaves and berries, no cones cinnamon sticks ect. Done within 30 mins.

The tutor was fabulous very informative and has a wealth of knowledge, sadly Internet was a little bit of a problem but with inis’s help all was well at the end of the time.
