We had a choice of pottery, and after breaking it, proceeded to learn the art of putting it back together, using epoxy and gold dust. I was pleased with the outcome and will use my piece as a saucer for a plant pot. Very enjoyable course lasting around 2 hours.
  • 5/5 from Mridula Iyer, attended Nov 2025: Amanda was a great teacher! Would happily recommend her :). If you are bringing your own piece definitely do a practice first!

Amanda was a brilliant, patient teacher - very generous with her time and materials. I was very pleased with the end result. Perfectly imperfect - a very enjoyable afternoon.
  • 5/5 from Roxana Florina Popa, attended Oct 2025: A very pleasant class in the secret corner of the Trinity Buoy Wharf. The teacher is very clear in her instructions and very nice to work with. Her workshop is also very welcoming. For me, it was great introduction into Kintsugi and opened my eyes to this patient japanese art.
  • 5/5 from Selena Matti, attended Oct 2025: Really great class, Amanda knew when to lean in and when to be more hands off. A lovely way to spend a Sunday afternoon, forcing you to slow down and really focus on your craft. Mine was by no means perfect, but definitely inspired me to want to try it again, and she gave us all the information needed to go Kintsugi on our own which was really handy.
  • 5/5 from Julie Tanner, attended Aug 2025: I bought this as a 60th Birthday gift for hubby as an interesting way to relax after 2 hectic days in London. We both absolutely loved it! Rose was a very patient teacher and we came away with a piece each which has inspired us to do more. Great location, friendly and helpful advice and lots of fun. Highly recommended.
  • 5/5 from Margarita Kousteni, attended Aug 2025: Great Kintsugi class with lots of personal attention and practical tips to continue the technique at home.
  • 5/5 from Ben, attended Jul 2025: Thoroughly enjoyed the class and mended some mugs, jugs and lids of some of my most precious ceramics. Really happy with the result. Attended the course as a birthday gift with my eldest daughter. We both had a great time. Teacher was lovely and she made it really easy to do a good job on the pieces that now look lovely again. You don't need to bring your own things. There were 6 in the class and I was the only one that had pieces to repair. I'd do it again, expecially when there's a food safe glue available in this country and I can repair the rest of my things.
  • 5/5 from Janet Adams, attended Jul 2025: Amanda is a fantastic teacher, full of enthusiasm and easy to talk to. Her lovely studio is in an artist community on Trinity Buoy Wharf which is also a great place to visit. We chose a piece of pottery and were then doing Kintsugi almost immediately and we all had such fun creating a beautiful piece from broken pottery. Highly recommend this class.

Perfect activity on a Summer’s evening, and Trinity Buoy Wharf is a cool place to visit too. Would definitely recommend :) Thanks Amanda!

The overall experience was lovely and fun but there were a few "technical issues" with the materials used to complete the technique which meant it wasnt all together sucessful. However that said we really enjoyed our visit and the time Amanda spent with us helping us to celebrate my Birthday and our wedding Anniversary. The experience was special even if the outcome wasnt a total sucess. Thankyou for making our day special.
