Try out fused glass at this creative London glass workshop and get hands-on with this colourful, tactile art form as you learn to make your own set of small glass bowls.
Hosted by an experienced artist in a studio adjacent to scenic Victoria Park, this glass fusing class will see you working with brightly coloured glass to create a vibrant series of glass trinket dishes. These professional quality pieces will be beautiful enough to take pride of place in your home decor. Nadine Mahoney is a practicing artist and educator with over 20 years of experience, she has exhibited in across the UK and in New York.
Don't worry if this is your first time trying glass fusing as your expert host will be there with you every step of the way to ensure your bowls turn out just as you envision them. There'll also be plenty of different patterns and colours to choose from to help fire up your creativity!
Whether you fancy joining this creative London activity on your own or if you'd like to bring a few pals along for a creative catch-up, it's a brilliant opportunity to reap the benefits of working with your hands. You'll soon relax into this soothing craft, create something beautiful and pick up some nifty new skills while you're at it.
I also run creative fused glass and Christmas Glass, check out my ClassBento profile for more details.
Please note: As your finished piece(s) will have to be fired in a kiln, they'll be ready for collection around 2 weeks after your class. Your glass can also be posted for £8.
This class is great for individuals and couples as well as for a team-building activity, Christmas party, birthday, hen do or stag do. • 5/5 from Richard Cotgrove, attended Feb 2026: The booking process was easy and likewise to access the gift card which had a long reclaim date. Plenty of course dates were offered. The couse was aborbing and three hours passed so quickly. After a short instruction I had time to make four items and the course leader talked to everyone about their pieces during construction so we all got the best from our efforts.
  • 5/5 from Kelly Stracey, attended Feb 2026: Absolutely fabulous time in this class. We were given clear instructions and the teacher took the time to come round and help us with anything we wanted to query.
  • 5/5 from Lorraine Nolan, attended Feb 2026: Probably one of the best courses I have been on through ClassBento. I couldn't have been happier, as I purchased the course for my partners Christmas present.. She loved it. Our tutor Nadine was amazing! She was so lovely, extremely knowledgable and on had to offer advice, instruction and inspiration all the way through the workshop. Nadine was very easy to chat to which was great as we had quite the chatty group of Irish people at our table. we had such a nice time The techniques were so easy to pick up and apply to our pieces, I cant wait to get the finished pieces in a few weeks once they are fired in the Kiln. Another good point was that it was very easy to find, [ we did get an uber though] and literally 2 minutes walk away from the closest pub, so after the workshop we popped down to finish off the evening with a cosy drink. I would have no problem recommending this course, it is for beginners and harded crafters alike. You can let your imaginination run wild. I will be recommending to my friends

  • 5/5 from Lisa Mouette, attended Sep 2025: Nadine was really great at explaining the craft in an easy way for us all to understand and follow. The class was really fun and entertaining, whilst also being very accessible to all skill levels. Nadine is great at giving practical and creative tips as well, helping us create nice pieces. Being able to take 4 pieces home as well was a big added plus! Highly recommend for a gift or to do with a friend/family member!

  • 5/5 from Vivienne Buckwell, attended Aug 2025: Thank you for hosting this class! It was easy to find and I was welcomed by the cutest cat and then we started promptly. Everything was explained really clearly which was very reassuring. There was loads of inspiration in the room and Nadine came around each of us to discuss what sort of ideas we had and she gave us helpful tips and encouragement. I had overestimated my ability and realised my ideas were all beyond my level but all I got was positive suggestions and she even brought me a special piece that worked perfectly for my Solar/Space idea! There was plenty of space to work even with a full attendance and also a large variety of glass and additional bits to work with to create your 4 pieces. When I booked, I thought 3 hours was a lot of time but then ended up needing all of it!! My pieces will all be flat but I could’ve had any or all as a bowl aswell. Can’t wait to see how they turn out! Thoroughly enjoyed this class and I’d definitely want to try again.

I would highly recommend this creative experience, not only fun but immensely satisfying. Loved it.

Very encouraging and positive and looks after you. Very small classes (we were 5) so you can get as much help as you need. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend!

We went here for a date day, a lot of people came here for a birthday present.
  • 5/5 from Danielle, attended Oct 2024: This was awesome! I got this experience for mum as a present and I can say it was money well spent! • 5/5 from Tima Rabbat, attended Mar 2024: super fun workshop, easy technique to grasp and make fun tests of within the time given
  • 5/5 from Velvet, attended Feb 2024: Booked this class as someone with no artistic experience or ideas. The teacher is very helpful, easy going, calm, kind, and encouraging. She didn't mind repeating things to me, clarifying instructions, and answering questions. It's high quality art glass including metallic bits, with all sorts of things you can incorporate to create something as fun, or classy as you desire. The teacher even went out of her way to fire them quickly, and wrap them up well so I could take them back in my suitcase.
  • 5/5 from Camelia, attended Feb 2024: This workshop is fabulous. I even didn’t know when the time passed. The location has a beautiful view on the back. All the materials provided were amazing.
  • 5/5 from Di Samuels, attended Feb 2024: Took my son for a Christmas present. Such a fun, friendly class. Would highly recommend it if you fancy something different.
  • 3/5 from Anonymised ClassBento customer, attended Feb 2024: I think the class should cost half the price. Studio is very cold, the colour selection was not great, and the teacher guidance quite vague. Felt more like a colouring class since we don’t get to do any glass work apart from just placing pre cut pieces next to each other. Slightly disappointed
  • 5/5 from Ally Drake, attended Jan 2024: Very friendly helpful teacher who was happy to give advice, ideas and suggestions if you wanted them but equally happy to let you do your own thing. Everyone made four different things each to take home and there were lots of different colours, materials and tools to choose from. Hot drinks and biscuits provided throughout the class. I thought it was good value and really enjoyed it. Thank you Nadine!
  • 5/5 from Miao Tian, attended Jan 2024: Amazing class and so kind, expert and fantastic teacher that I like it so much
  • 5/5 from Rebecca Penn, attended Dec 2023: Nadine was a fab teacher, really friendly and helpful, and provided plenty of tea & biscuits! The session felt really relaxed and we both enjoyed cutting the glass up (with safety goggles on) and just trying out different and bits & pieces. It felt like there was no wrong direction to go in and Nadine was great at guiding our ideas Nadine posted our glass pieces to us, they were all safely wrapped, and they all look fantastic. We decided to have half our pieces shapped into bowls & half as coasters and we're thrilled with the outcome. We can't wait to find places for them in our home
  • 5/5 from Dirk, attended Nov 2023: Really interesting class! Super welcoming instructor, loads of materials to choose from and plenty of support throughout. Was able to make four very different pieces and I can’t wait to see what they look like after the kiln!
  • 5/5 from Helen Reid, attended Nov 2023: The class was so much fun! Nadine is an excellent teacher, full of advice and recommendations, and guided everyone in the class on colour and material combinations to make our designs come to life. The materials provided were all beautiful. As I was a little slower than the rest, Nadine allowed me to stay a little after the class ended to finish my last piece. And the room was well heated - as I had cycled there in the rain, Nadine was happy for me to put my wet clothes on the radiator to dry! Thanks for being so accommodating.
  • 5/5 from Tatiana Zapolskaya, attended Nov 2023: It’s been a great experience, Nadine was very professional and supportive, the atmosphere was inspirational and relaxed, working with multicolored glass was a pleasure! Looking forward to see the results :)
  • 5/5 from Rosie Shayler, attended Nov 2023: I had such a great day with Nadine making my bowls, there was a fabulous range of colours and materials and everything was explained very well. The length of the class was perfect too
  • 5/5 from Robbie Giannelli, attended Oct 2023: Our glass fusing workshop with Nadine was the perfect birthday gift. Nadine was so welcoming and really put us at ease even though we are not arty people. She encouraged our creativity to a point where we were creating without thinking. As a teacher she was fantastic, but moreover she allowed us to be free and create without judgement. I would reccomend making glass with Nadine for anyone who, like me, remembers the joy of drawing as a child but hasn't had the pleasure of doing so as an adult.
  • 5/5 from Alessandra Schmitt Mendes, attended Sep 2023: We went for a private glass making bowl experience and we had the best time! Nadine was amazing and taught us in a really lovely manner and made us feel super comfortable, showed us all the different techniques and helped us with our vision. Would 100% recommend!
