Art has always been something I’ve held onto, especially during times when everything else felt uncertain.
Moving from one country to another as a 9 year old, wasn’t the easiest experience, and for a long time I didn’t really know how to process everything I was feeling. Art became that space for me. It gave me a way to express things I couldn’t always put into words, and over time it became somewhere I felt calm, grounded, and understood.
That connection stayed with me, which is why choosing to study a BA in Fine Art felt natural. Creating has always been something I come back to, no matter what stage of life I’m in.
Alongside this, I’ve spent the past four years working as a teaching assistant across primary, secondary, and SEN settings. That experience has shaped the way I approach teaching. I’ve learnt how important it is to create a space where people feel comfortable, supported, and not judged, especially when they’re trying something new.
Starting my own workshops has been something I’ve wanted to do for a long time. I know how easy it is to say you want to try something creative, but then life gets busy. You don’t have the materials, you’re not sure where to start, and eventually the idea just gets pushed aside.
That’s really where Inaartworld comes from.
I wanted to create something where you can just show up as you are, without overthinking it. Everything is ready for you, and you’re guided through it in a way that feels relaxed and natural. It’s not about being perfect or “good at art”, it’s about giving yourself the time to slow down and enjoy the process.
There’s something really special about watching someone go from “I’m not creative at all” to surprising themselves with what they’ve made. That shift in confidence is honestly my favourite part of teaching.
Textured art in particular is something I love working with. It’s hands-on, a little messy, and really satisfying. You can physically see your work build up on the canvas, which makes the whole experience feel more immersive and freeing.
Inaartworld is still growing, but it’s something I care deeply about. It’s not just about making art, it’s about creating a space where people can switch off, reconnect with themselves, and leave feeling a little lighter than when they came in.
