What you'll do

Indulge in a slice of the finest afternoon tea with a Caribbean twist, as you move your body with some rum punch making and a good spot of tea at this London cocktail making class.

Forget the traditional way of sipping on a cup of tea and vibe with some rum punch as you learn to make a rum-based cocktail or mocktail and tuck into some tasty sweet and savoury treats.

Whilst dining with Our Roti Island, we have jazzed up a savouring selection of bun and cheese, freshly baked chicken patties, some Saltfish fritters with chilli jam and roti with stew chicken pot. And for those with a sweet tooth, we have upside down pineapple cake and cinnamon waffles. Topped with a mouth-watering range of exquisitely presented exotic fruit. (All dishes are Halal based)

For the vegetarian menu, you will indulge in roti with Chic peas curry pot, veggie patties and not forgetting plantain fritters with chili jam. We haven't forgotten about the upside down pineapple cake and cinnamon waffles. Also topped with a mouth-watering range of exquisitely presented exotic fruit.

Choose from a variety of different types of leaf tea to accompany your food and learn how to make your own glass of rum cocktail to add some extra sparkle and rhythm to the occasion. Make a rum mocktail if you prefer!

The venue was nice and cosy for an autumn afternoon tea. The host was awesome and the food was so good! Definitely good value for money. I left with my belly fully and high in spirits ????

Venue was lovely, decor everywhere.
We felt very comfortable.

Teacher was friendly, thoughtful and informative. The quiz was a nice touch and joining the parties together was really nice.

Presentation and dinnerware/table setting was amazing.

The food and drinks we had was all amazing. Great selection of food. Very tasty and delicious!

Fantastic place for birthday celebration and we highly recommend the cocktail class with the afternoon tea.

Had an amazing time, teacher was lovely and engaging. The cocktail making was fun and the rum punch came out really good. Caribbean food was lovely and the chef was really attentive to the different dietary needs within our group. Overall fantastic time deffo recommend!

My friends and I did not have a lot of time in London, but we’re so happy that we decided to spend our Sunday doing this event. Not only was it fun, it was informative. We learned how to make an authentic drink and how to duplicate it at all. Then the afternoon tea came with a full tasty brunch that left us fully satisfied. There’s beverages, there’s takeaway, and there’s ambiance, we couldn’t have asked for more!

I booked the Caribbean afternoon tea with cocktail making for a Bridal Shower. The food was fantastic, both the meat and vegetarian options were great, especially the plantain fritters. The host was really friendly and engaging we all enjoyed the cocktail making and the rum punch.

A really enjoyable class. The instructor was friendly and knowledgeable, sharing interesting facts and context around cocktails and spirits in the Caribbean whilst giving clear instructions as we made our cocktails. We were then given a quiz which was a fun way to learn and ‘compete’ with other teams. The afternoon tea itself was delicious and deceptively filling whilst also offering a unique take on afternoon tea. Overall we would strongly recommend this class

What a fabulous equivalent to an English Afternoon Tea, but with the added touch of making your own Caribbean cocktail to start. This was followed by a quiz which was enjoyed by all! and what can I say, the delicious, well presented Caribbean Afternoon Tea with all the islands flavours! was superb! Served with a choice of hot teas.

From the outset the host/teacher was welcoming and very accommodating which made the experience very enjoyable. This I would definitely recommend and would do again. Two hours was plenty of time and the experience did not seem/was not rushed.

It would a be a lovely gift for all occasions or just simply if you want to have a fun catch up with a/or friend(s). I would even say a work/team building session. Great value for money.

The rum cocktail making class was great! Really good positive vibes, the instructor was very friendly and engaging, with fun quiz questions, etc. while putting our cocktails together. The venue was nice and intimate, and it wasn’t loud in there as the room was reserved just for us so we could really get stuck in without distractions. It was great that we could make our cocktail to our liking, adding in extra alcohol if we preferred and adding our own twist to things. I’ve been to quite a few cocktail making classes and this was up there in terms of value for money; as it also included a really delicious Caribbean afternoon tea with a generous amount of food! I absolutely loved the stewed chicken and roti, so I was really happy we could have seconds! As an event planner, I have to say I was greatly impressed by the overall organisation and would highly recommend! I can’t wait to book one of their other sessions, as they also run candle making workshops too! Thanks to all involved in putting this together, and I’ll definitely be in touch to book something fun for my colleagues/clients :).

Was a lovely enjoyable few hours. Combination of making a cocktail and having a carrebean tea was just different and nicer than a normal English tea. Loved the quizz whils making the cocktail. Good idea. All very well prepared and presented.

Such a lovely experience! I highly recommend it if you’re looking for something fun, tasty and different!

The host was so friendly and warm. She made sure everyone was comfortable with the heat, waited for an attendee that was running late to officially begin and hosted a fun quiz during the cocktail making class.

The cocktail was also so tasty and fun to make!

The food was delicious! We got second rounds of the chicken stew because it was honestly incredible, as was everything else! The roti, fritters, patties, etc. we all so good!
