Join talented teacher Tere near Canary Wharf to get your sweet-treat fix all on a quaint houseboat.This wonderful baking class combines the festive flavours of gingerbread churros and mulled hot chocolate to create some of the best Spanish treats you've ever had. With Spanish Christmas songs playing throughout and the gentle rock of the Dutch houseboat on the river, this London experience is hard to beat!With plenty of handy demonstrations and some opportunities to get hands-on with the dough, you will learn how churros are made and fried. You'll then move on to the chocolate sauce recipe as you stir in a little bit of yuletide magic and complete the dish.You'll then be able to tuck into this seasonal, Spanish delight at the end of the class. Let your teacher know if you have any food allergies or intolerances when you book, and they can make some adjustments to fit your needs. On the hunt for fun things to do in London this Christmas? - The teacher has a beautiful, fluffy and super friendly Ragdoll cat, if you are allergic to cats please consider this before booking for yourself or sharing it as a gift experience with friends.
- This is an unusual kitchen in a unique setting and not a large space as with business/catering kitchens, so the class is primarily to guide and inform guests with interaction and collaboration at certain stages of the cooking process.

We had such a lovely afternoon at the churros and mulled chocolate class on a cozy little boat! From the moment we stepped aboard, it felt so festive and welcoming. Tere, our teacher, was incredibly kind, friendly and full of positive energy, which made the whole experience even better. The boat was warm and beautifully decorated, giving it a magical, Christmasy vibe. One of the highlights for us was meeting Tere’s adorable ragdoll cat, Tippi. She was so calm and sweet, happily letting us pet her throughout the class. The class itself was fantastic. Tere showed us how to make perfect, crispy churros and rich, mulled chocolate step by step, and everything turned out delicious. We sipped on our chocolate while enjoying cheerful Christmas music and chatting about Spanish culture, and different cultures and traditions. It felt more like a fun holiday get-together than a class. This class was my gift to my husband, and we couldn’t have been happier with it. The churros were incredible, the chocolate was heavenly, and Tere’s kindness and passion made the whole experience unforgettable. If you’re looking for a unique and festive activity, I can’t recommend this class enough. Although it was a cooking class, it felt like friends hanging out. The class was delivered in a really authentic way with each ingredient having its story told on its importance in a churro as well as the history behind churros. Hello! We are Tere and Colin, also known by our friends as #Team TC! We are both artists, huge foodies and city lovers with a real passion for sharing experiences with students of all skill levels!We are Londoners and love our city and where we live, which is on a cute houseboat in a fantastic, friendly and creative East London community. Colin is a full-time artist and shows his art regularly in London and at international art fairs while Tere studied art at the renowned Goldsmiths College and then worked for over 14 years in contemporary art galleries and design studios in London.We are very sociable and love getting to know new people through hosting dinner parties and get-togethers. We regularly visit art galleries, music concerts, cinema and basically anything fun and cultural.
