What you'll do
Join us for a cake decorating class in Manchester where you’ll learn how to decorate a beautiful, artistic cake from scratch. You’ll walk away feeling so proud that you’ve created a real piece of art and sweetness.It doesn’t matter if you've never decorated a cake before. This four-hour hands-on workshop is for complete beginners and makes a fantastic activity if you’re looking for fun things to do on the weekend in Manchester with friends, family, or even solo.During this relaxing session, the award-winning cake artist Faiza will teach you all of the tips and tricks needed to create gorgeous cakes. Everything will be taught step by step: torting, filling, crumb coating, fondant covering, to fully decorated cake. You’ll get to completely switch off and immerse yourself in the process. Choose from a mix of colours, add in fondant embellishments, and create your own swirls and patterns.You can proudly package up your completely decorated cake to take home to share with your family and friends, and you might even have found your new favourite hobby!

I am Faiza Sherjeel, an award winning cake artist and the founder of The Cake Menagerie, a cake decorating studio. I am based in Manchester, UK. Art has always been my passion that led me to the cake art, the best way to express myself. I started as a hobby baker and soon this took me to the journey of cake decorating instructor. Being a nature lover, my work is mostly inspired by nature. It gives me peace and satisfaction. I am here to share my passion for cake art and love for nature with you.
