£115 - £125 (£125 per guest when you book for 1 guest, £115/guest for 2+ guests) (PayPal Pay in 3 available)

Join this one-day weaving 'tasting menu' at Weavers Works and discover the creative possibilities of the loom. Whether you are an absolute beginner hungry to try a new craft or an experienced weaver looking to play with texture and pattern without the prep, this workshop is the perfect fit.
You don't need to worry about complex setup or planning; every 8-shaft table loom is dressed and ready for you. With guidance throughout the day, you'll feel supported as you move from loom to loom, sampling a range of structures.
Your five courses will include:
  • Twills and crepes – Explore a range of basic to fancy twills and crepes on a varied gamp
  • Colour and weave – Play with the effects of colour in the warp and weft
  • Huck weaves – Create lacy weaves and textures with warp and weft floats
  • Deflected double weave – Discover the magic of layered interlocking structures
  • Waffles – Experience three-dimensional weaving in awe
By the end of the session, you'll have a deeper appreciation for the craft and a 'takeaway' of five woven samples, one from each course, to keep as a record of your textile adventure.
Please note: the class runs from 10 am to 4.30 pm. An hour-long lunch break is included, with tea and coffee provided. There are plenty of cafés nearby, or you are welcome to bring your own lunch.

I created Weavers Works as a space where people can slow down and enjoy the art of weaving. I find comfort in the steady rhythm of working with my hands and in the meditative process of creating something from start to finish.
My weaving journey began during my textile design degree at Central Saint Martins. I've taught weaving classes at the Handweavers Studio for the past decade and when the studio announced its move to Dorset, it left a void in the community. That moment and with the enthusiasm of the community, encouraged me to start Weavers Works and continue providing a workshop space for weavers in London and beyond.
What I enjoy most about teaching is seeing how people develop as they learn. Watching students gain confidence, ask questions, and explore new ideas brings a lot of satisfaction. My classes are calm, supportive, and hands on. Whether you are completely new to weaving or looking to deepen your skills, my aim is to create a welcoming space where you can learn, explore, and enjoy the process.
