Your teacher
I created Weavers Works as a space where people can slow down and enjoy the art of weaving. I find comfort in the steady rhythm of working with my hands and in the meditative process of creating something from start to finish. My weaving journey began during my textile design degree at Central Saint Martins. I've taught weaving classes at the Handweavers Studio for the past decade and when the studio announced its move to Dorset, it left a void in the community. That moment and with the enthusiasm of the community, encouraged me to start Weavers Works and continue providing a workshop space for weavers in London and beyond.What I enjoy most about teaching is seeing how people develop as they learn. Watching students gain confidence, ask questions, and explore new ideas brings a lot of satisfaction. My classes are calm, supportive, and hands on. Whether you are completely new to weaving or looking to deepen your skills, my aim is to create a welcoming space where you can learn, explore, and enjoy the process.
