  • 5/5 from Richard Katz, attended May 2026: Brilliant session with Samantha. We were first-time glass blowers and she explained everything very clearly and was so friendly and supportive throughout. The session was really well paced and hands-on, and we got to try a range of different techniques. It was fun, relaxed and very informative at the same time. We would definitely consider doing glass-blowing again as a result of our great experience!
  • 5/5 from Shannon Amarasekara, attended May 2026: This was an incredible experience for my boyfriend and me, being able to see the process of glassmaking and at the same time create some beautiful unique pieces. Sam was an amazing teacher, allowing us to do the work while also gently guiding us and making the workshop easy to follow and fun. We loved seeing the glasswear displayed in her studio as well, showing all the creative possibilities of glassblowing. Overall we had a wonderful day and couldn't recommend this workshop more. You're guaranteed to come out of it with a feeling of accomplishement and not realising how fast the time went by! Thank you so much Sam :)
  • 5/5 from Conaugh Clarke, attended Apr 2026: We had such a lovely time at this workshop - it was a truly memorable and enjoyable experience! Sam was fantastic: so patient, supportive, and incredibly good at breaking each step down so everything felt easy and manageable. Her knowledge really shone through, and she made the whole session feel relaxed and flexible, encouraging us to be creative and to try things out. The workshop itself is beautiful - calm, inspiring, and wonderfully tucked away. It honestly didn’t feel like we were in London at all, which made it even more special! We absolutely loved the whole experience - thank you so much, Sam!
  • 5/5 from Luke Waterfield, attended Mar 2026: Absolutely fantastic experience, really hands on and creative. Sam was an amazing teacher, we felt like we learned so much and got a real feeling for working with glass. Plus we have some beautiful objects to cherish at the end! Thanks!
  • 5/5 from Megan Capon, attended Mar 2026: Absolutely excellent class, Sam was a brilliant teacher. I was a little nervous before the class and I didn't know what to expect, but Sam was incredibly attentive and provided clear instructions. We had SO much fun, and were really pleased with what we made. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this class far and wide.
  • 5/5 from Isabel Adomakoh Young, attended Feb 2026: Highly recommend this class! We had an amazing morning with Samantha in her beautiful custom studio behind her house. Everything was clean, safe and well prepared, and she was super personable and acommodating. We were given safety sleeves and goggles and talked through best practice, and asked to sign a H&S waiver. We started with a practice run, getting the hang of molten glass and tools, then looked at lots of fun options to choose from for designing our own pieces. We learned about the craft, a little history and science as we went along, but it was mainly just super hands-on, and we made 2 items each. Top tip: Choose different designs to each other so you can try different techniques & tools! FYI: The pieces need treating after, so are posted for £20 or collectable a few days after the class.
  • 5/5 from Susi Bains, attended Feb 2026: Sam is a very friendly and welcoming teacher, she had a lot of experience and guided us to create our beautiful glass pieces. This was my first time glassblowing and I loved every minute of it. I would highly recommend this class.
  • 5/5 from Odysseus Carter-Powell, attended Jan 2026: My partner and I got a gift card for ClassBento at Christmas as we both prefer hands on events these days, and we couldn't have been happier with Samanthas experiance. She clearly has a wealth of knowledge and a love of the craft and its material, which endears her as a teacher and makes the time that much more rewarding (the more intimate setting was a major plus in that regard). We made two pieces each, a solid paperwieght and a drinking glass and had ample choices regarding colours and design, with guidance on what was possible, or would look best. We throughly enjoyed the time we spent, and recieving all the momento's safely in the post has been a perfect end.
  • 5/5 from Beenish Ali, attended Dec 2025: Wonderful class, perfect to do as a pair. Sam was a delightful teacher who guided us through the process both verbally and practically. My sister and I crafted two beautiful pieces each, through heating glass in the kiln, shaping it on the bench and blowing glass to create vases and glasses! I have a new found appreciation for glassblowing and hand made glassware. Thank you Sam!
  • 5/5 from Gregory Rowley, attended Dec 2025: Amazing experience, Sam was so enthusiastic and encouraging, giving the perfect amount of advice whilst letting us get hands on and do the glassblowing ourselves. We made a candle holder each, a glass, and a vase, and can’t wait to pick them up! Would thoroughly recommend booking this experience.

  • 5/5 from Nikolett Harsanyi, attended Nov 2025: We really enjoyed this workshop, we had so much fun. • 5/5 from Cara Fung, attended Sep 2025: We had a wonderful time doing the workshop with Samantha. It was a very hands-on experience (which made it extra fun!) with plenty of support. Samantha is lovely, very experienced and gives great guidance. Everyone doing the workshop can make two items each, a smaller, solid piece (e.g. incense holder, candle holder, paperweight) and a larger one such as a water glass/vase. I would recommend this workshop to anyone considering doing it, and have already spread the news to a lot of friends!

  • 5/5 from Marina Pareas, attended Apr 2025: This was such fun! Sam was excellent and the experience was wonderful. If it wasn't so physically demanding for a woman of my age I would serious think about taking it up as a hobby. My niece and I went together and we each made two items of our choice, and mine now sit in pride of place on my dressing table and office desk! I just got back from Malta and went to see the glass blowing in Mdina Glass, and relived the experience, and also knew what they were doing and why. Absolutely wonderful and well worth the money. Than you to my lovely daughters for this excellent present. A wonderful memory.

The location is super convenient, right by the northern line, and the studio is super modern. Highly recommend this class

Samantha's energy and knowledge makes for a fun and comfortable environment as first timers craft unique and beautiful creations. Always on hand to guide and encourage she also has a knack for saving the pieces when things get sticky without ever making you feel like you did anything wrong. • 5/5 from John Mendenhall, attended Aug 2024: Samantha was the perfect combination of a teacher allowing us to do things as much as we could on our own while also supporting us to make sure we stayed safe and had a good time. We each made two different types of glass pieces which allowed us to experience even more techniques. When I made a mistake, Sam quickly would encourage me to try again and expertly help fix the error so even with no experience we left the workshop with pieces that looked good. We are excited to see the final results once the pieces are done cooling. We went as our anniversary celebration for the glass year; would definitely recommend to others for a fun day out with a friend, date, etc.

Book this class, you will not regret it!!!! Thanks soooo much Samantha, we will see you again. Shula and Lucy.
