This is a beginner-friendly class :)
What to bring
Basic materials and tools will be provided, but feel free to bring your own watercolour or ink friendly paper as well as gathering in advance some onion skins, avocado pits and skins, pomegranate skins, and/or used tea bags to extract colour from.Please also bring a notebook and a pen if you fancy getting a bit technical and taking some notes for reference. Although the class will be very practical, I will give you some tips that you might want to write down.You might want to bring clothes you don't mind getting dirty since inks can stain!

I am a visual artist and arts educator working with colour, textiles, minerals, clay, seeds, flowers and pigments that I carefully gather from plants around me and nearby. I specialise in sustainable wellbeing workshops and creative mindful sessions for community groups, CPD and staff training for small companies and institutions.I have been working with natural dyes since 2019 and have an extensive experience planning and delivering creative and engaging sustainable workshops for people of all ages and many backgrounds.I see these experiences as tools for learning but also for grounding and reflection that aim to connect with ourselves and with others in a supportive, non judgemental safe space. Interested in mental health and wellbeing, I nurture environments where people can reach a deeper level of understanding of their feelings and emotions, allowing time for play and exploration with a focus on the process of making and collective learning.
