At-Home Earring-Making Party

Enjoy some fun creativity in your own home with this mobile jewellery making class in East Yorkshire.

2 hours Class size 6 to 15 guests       £50 (PayPal Pay in 3 available)

Bring your favourite people together for a colourful, hands-on jewellery-making experience in your own home – your teacher brings everything you need. You'll go through the complete jewellery-making process, transforming copper and vibrant laser-cut acrylic into your own pair of statement earrings that you'll love to wear.
Throughout the workshop, you'll discover how to safely anneal copper using a blowtorch, add texture with traditional metalworking hammers, choose from a rainbow of laser-cut shapes and cords, experiment with colour combinations that feel right to you, design your unique earring style, and assemble your finished pieces with sterling silver hooks. Every step is guided by a qualified teacher who'll demonstrate first, then support you as you create – no prior experience needed.
All you need to provide is a table, chairs and decent lighting. Everything else – tools, materials, protective equipment and plenty of gorgeous colour choices – comes with your teacher. It's the perfect way to celebrate a birthday, hen party, team gathering, or simply to switch off and get creative with friends. You'll finish the day with fresh skills, brilliant memories, and two completely one-of-a-kind pairs of earrings made entirely by you.
What you'll get
Two pairs of colourful earrings designed and handmade by you, finished with sterling silver hooks, plus a bright drawstring bag and polishing cloth. All tuition, tools, and materials are included.

Hi, I’m Emma, the designer and maker behind Emma Dale Jewellery.
Creativity has always been a huge part of my life. I grew up on a farm in North Yorkshire, studied floristry and now work as a qualified teacher and Lead Teacher of Design Technology.
During Covid, my daughter Rose—then eight—and I started a tiny business making button necklaces. That little project reminded me how much I loved turning simple materials into something joyful and wearable.
Today, I create bold, colourful jewellery using hand-hammered copper, sterling silver, laser-cut acrylic and cord. My designs often begin as hand-drawn doodles before being engraved or laser-cut in my workshop. I love combining traditional metalworking with modern technology, and because everything is handmade, each piece has its own character.
Emma Dale Jewellery is very much a husband-and-wife team. My husband and I are both qualified teachers, and he supports everything behind the scenes—from helping at workshops to setting up, tidying away and keeping family life running while I create!
Teaching is just as important to me as making. I love helping people who believe they “aren’t creative” relax, experiment with colour and leave wearing something they’re genuinely proud to have made. Our teaching experience means our fully insured workshops are welcoming, well organised and accessible to complete beginners.
It’s colourful, creative and occasionally a little chaotic—but it’s all made with plenty of love here in East Yorkshire.
