The class moved along at our pace, and as someone who brought their own sewing machine, I felt so lucky to hear her expertise and tips! I'd been having trouble with my sewing machine before this, and Alice was so kind and gave me tips and tricks! The space was great, we made our little pouches, and had time to chat amongst ourselves and get to know each other a bit! Thank you, this was brilliant!!

Some how managed to create a small zipped pouch, boosted my confidence with the sewing machine even though it was my first time. Only issue is that it is not a weekly class yet.

Went from not knowing anything about sewing to learning a multitude of different things about machines and how to use them and using techniques in practice. Alice explained different types of machines and was super, super lovely. Really recommend this class/space :)

It’s definitely more challenging than I expected! The group was friendly, and the atmosphere was very welcoming. A couple of small points for improvement: it seemed that some materials were missing, which meant we had to share the same machine at one stage to attach the zipper. Also, I think adding an extra 30 minutes to an hour would allow everyone more time to get comfortable with the machine and complete each step without feeling rushed. In terms of the space, the sewing room could be a bit cleaner, tidier, and more welcoming. The restrooms especially need significant attention, and future participants might prefer to avoid using them if possible. Unfortunately, the class is quite far from my home, otherwise I would have loved to attend more sessions. Overall, it was a fun and valuable experience, and I’m grateful for the class!
