Enjoy a creative and meaningful experience together in this parent and child Chinese calligraphy class in London.
Designed for adults and children (aged 10+), this class introduces the art of traditional brush writing in a way that is both fun and easy to follow.
You and your child will learn how to hold a brush, create simple strokes, and write Chinese characters step by step, with guidance from a friendly instructor.
To make learning stress-free and enjoyable, you’ll use magic calligraphy paper — simply write with water and watch your work appear like ink, then fade away as it dries. This allows you to practise again and again with no mess.
The class takes place in a spacious and welcoming studio, with a relaxed atmosphere where you can learn, chat, and enjoy time together.
During the session, you’ll also be served Chinese tea and light homemade snacks, adding a cultural touch to your shared experience.
At the end of the class, you’ll take home your own calligraphy practice set, so you can continue practising together.

Important Booking Information
  • 1 Ticket must be booked as 1 Adult + 1 Child. Children cannot attend without an accompanying adult. If only adults are attending the class, full price will be charged.
  • Recommended for children aged 10+
Due to booking system limitations, each ticket can only add:
  • 1 extra adult
  • 1 extra child
If your group is larger, please send us a message. We can help you with booking.
  • Each participating adult and child must hold a valid ticket
  • Outside food and drinks are not permitted
  • Class duration is an estimate and may vary depending on group size
No Refund Policy
All bookings are non-refundable. If you cannot attend, you may transfer your ticket to another adult and child pair. Please notify us in advance.
Rescheduling
If you need to reschedule your booking, a £50 fee per booking applies. Requests must be made at least 7 days before your scheduled class date.
Arrival & Punctuality
Classes begin promptly. A 15-minute grace period is provided. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, we may not be able to admit you and your booking will be forfeited. We appreciate your understanding as our small-group classes require preparation and planning.
Health & Safety Policy
  • For the safety of all guests and in line with UK food hygiene guidance, anyone experiencing vomiting, diarrhoea, or similar symptoms must be symptom-free for at least 48 hours before attending the class
  • Guests may be asked to confirm this upon arrival
  • We reserve the right to refuse entry if this requirement is not met
