One-to-one Cricut Workshop

Join us in store and talk to a craft expert for tips and advice on your Cricut machine or project!

1 hour Class size 1 on 1       £28

Join a Hobbycraft Colleague one-to-one and ask any questions you have about your Cricut machine! Stuck on a project? Need help with Design Space? Trying to get to grips with using a new material? Our craft expert will share tips and techniques tailored to you.

This is suitable for all Cricut users, providing the opportunity to get all the answers you need about your machine. Whether you’re crafting with a Maker, a Joy, Joy Xtra or an Explore machine, you’ll be able to get excellent insight for all kinds of projects. It’s a great way to get a feel for your new machine or learn about features you’re not as confident with yet.
During the booking process, you’ll have the opportunity to let your Hobbycraft Colleague know what you would like to focus on during the session. They’ll be able to prepare for a personalised workshop that answers all of your questions.
You’re sure to walk away a Cricut crafting pro, ready to start making your next big project!

Bring a friend: You can now use the £5 add-on feature at checkout to invite a friend along with you, whether you’re working on a project together or you’d simply prefer having some company during the session. Your friend can enjoy any demonstrations given, and they are free to ask questions, but they will not receive the same practical, direct one-to-one support as is offered to the lead participant.

Please note: If you would like to discuss the Foil Transfer Tool, Knife Blade, “Print Then Cut” feature, “Curved Text” feature or “Offset” we would recommend that you book on to one of our online one-to-one Cricut workshop sessions as we are currently unable to demonstrate these features in-store due to them being for the desktop version of Design Space only.

Please note, our workshop spaces in some stores are located in open areas and we will endeavour to minimise interruption from other crafters.

Keeping everyone safe

At Hobbycraft, we want our workshops to be enjoyable, inclusive, and safe for everyone. Some workshops are suitable for children, and where this is the case, a parent or legal guardian is responsible for supervising their child at all times unless the workshop is clearly stated as suitable for independent attendance. Our colleagues and instructors are there to guide the activity and support a safe environment, and if any concerns about safety or wellbeing arise during a workshop, these should be raised with a member of staff straight away.

  • 4/5 from Anonymised ClassBento customer, attended Nov 2024: The occasion was to teach my daughter how to use the Cricut and show her the things she could create. I had planned to surprise her with a Cricut joy after the class when we got home but I think it would have been better to give her the present first then do the class. I also wish we were able to do more creating and playing with the machine ourselves. The instructor did most of the choosing and playing.

Rachel is very knowledgeable and I really appreciated her time and advice. Great venue too, light and airy and great value for money. Hopefully I can now apply all I’ve learnt from Rachel today and I shall be back for more one to one tutorials should they be needed. Thanks so much Rachel

Ruby was extremely knowledgeable, personable and extremely patient with this complete novice, no question seemed to silly, she made me feel completely at ease (as this was completely out of my comfort zone). Thanks so much Ruby. Cant wait to get my new blade and then invest in more cricut materials to keep me busy

I went along to the Crawley Hobbycraft branch with no knowledge at all, and looking to find out if any of the available machines could help me with some projects I had in mind. Not only was the session informative and answered all of my questions, but Kristel even used some of my sample materials in the demonstration. I've been totally inspired by her and have actually wasted no time purchasing my own Cricut machine
