My name is Rose from Early Masterworks Creative Club. Like you, I love life drawing. My first session started when I was in architectural school; figurative drawing is part of our analytical training ('real drawing is thinking'). 9 years ago, I started my first life drawing club in Hong Kong, where I am from; at that time, life drawing became more of a way for me to relax and meet interesting people in the city ('living room for creatives'). I started this EM London life-drawing club just a year ago after my husband and I moved here. Our current regular sessions typically welcome between 30 and 80 creatives from truly diverse backgrounds and levels; we also receive commissions and collaborate with many major festivals, museums, galleries, cultural institutions, and heritage sites worldwide. Examples include the National Gallery, the Open House Festival London, the Urbanism/Architecture Bi-City Biennale (UABB), the European Biennial of Contemporary Art, and more.'I can't draw' is something I hear a lot from adults. I believe everyone is creative and can find joy in drawing. I aim to help everyone access that creative flow easily/easier through curating a safe, non-judgemental, non-competitive drawing and thinking environment. Our sessions are all themed, untutored, with unique creative prompts, and held at unique places in London. Check out our IG and see if there is something for you; let's go from 'I can't draw' to 'I just had the most rewarding and happiest time for a long while; I really enjoy drawing!' Hopefully there is something new for creatives at any level to explore further at each session.
