Crochet Taster Workshop

Learn the fundamental crochet stitches and techniques, plus take home your own crochet hook.

2 hours Class size 1 to 6 guests       £35

This is a beginner friendly class where you discover the joy of creating with yarn.
In this class our experienced teacher will guide you through 3 essential stitches in crochet. These stitches are a basis for most crochet techniques, so by the end of the class you will have a basic knowledge to start making your own things or learn more complicated techniques.
The nature of this class is very relaxed and playful as you're not following a pattern, so you can go at your own pace and be as free as you want.
The teacher will also give you tips on changing colors, sewing pieces together, finishing the piece and answer all your questions about crochet.
We also provide all participants with a crochet hook and yarn, so you can go home and continue practicing straight away.
What you'll get
Whatever you make in the workshop, you will also receive your very own crochet hook and yarn to take home.

At Art Craft Studios, we’re all about sparking creativity, building skills, and offering a space to try something new — whether you're flying solo or bringing along friends and family. No matter your experience level, you're always welcome here.
Our London-based studio offers a wide range of hands-on workshops, from pottery to textiles, all set in a warm and inspiring environment. The studio is run by Amanda — a ceramicist with a Master’s degree and over 17 years of experience — who leads all pottery sessions with care and expertise, alongside talented guest teachers Valeria & Clare.
We keep our workshop sizes small to ensure a more personal, relaxed experience. You can also book private sessions or family-friendly group classes designed to be as fun as they are enriching.
We're based in a unique London Location at Trinity Buoy Wharf, this riverside creative hub features London’s only lighthouse, amazing views of the O2, and a buzzing art scene. Make a day of it — explore the wharf, grab coffee at Orchard Café, or hop over to Canary Wharf for drinks afterward.
We look forward to welcoming you to the studio. See you soon!
