Set within a beautiful community garden near King's Cross, you'll begin your journey inside a lush polytunnel surrounded by plants. Here, you'll paint your own plant pot, plant a promise to yourself, and choose a plant to take home -- a living reminder of the relationship with money you're choosing to nurture.

Hi, I'm Sannah, founder of AML Finance, a Community Interest Company helping people build healthier relationships with money through conversation, creativity and community.
After working in finance for over 10 years, I realised something important: most people don't struggle with money because they can't understand numbers. They struggle because nobody has given them a safe space to talk about money in the first place.
Throughout my career, I've seen how financial stress can affect confidence, relationships and overall wellbeing. I've also experienced first-hand how our relationship with money is shaped by our experiences, emotions and the conversations we do - or don't - have growing up.
That's what inspired AML.
Rather than delivering traditional workshops full of slides and spreadsheets, I wanted to create experiences that help people slow down, reflect and have meaningful conversations about money in a way that feels welcoming, practical and genuinely enjoyable.
ROOTED is the first of those experiences.
I love teaching because I don't see it as teaching at all - I see it as creating spaces where people feel comfortable enough to think differently. Some of the most powerful moments aren't when someone learns something new; they're when they hear someone else's story and realise they're not alone.
My background is in finance and accounting, and I'm an AAT-qualified accounting professional. Over the years I've worked with individuals, charities and community organisations, combining technical financial knowledge with a passion for financial wellbeing and education.
What excites me most is seeing people leave with more confidence than they arrived with.
When someone says, "I've never thought about money like that before, " I know we've achieved what we set out to do.
I believe money conversations don't have to feel intimidating. They can be thoughtful, creative and even joyful.
