Biblically Inspired Cooking Class

Join this six-week hands-on cooking class series and step into the flavours and stories of the Bible. Over the course of this experience, you'll explore a variety of dishes inspired by scripture – from succulent lamb kofta and fresh flatbreads with fragrant herbs to wholesome fish dishes and hearty sides.Each session is designed to make the Bible feel more tangible through food and flavour. You'll learn about the scripture behind every dish and its historical significance while tasting, creating, and enjoying these biblical meals with your fellow classmates.Throughout the course, you'll discover:

• Exploring flavoursome dishes – Discover some of the most beautiful and tasty recipes found in the Bible.
• Scriptural significance – Learn where these ingredients appear in scripture and the meaning behind the flavours.
• Nutritional insights – Gain knowledge on how the Bible suggests we fuel our bodies, including the importance of ingredients like olive oil.
• Practical guidance – Every session is fun, supportive, and includes all the ingredients you need.

This series is much more than a standard cooking lesson; it's a chance to connect more deeply with the word of God and understand scripture through a joyful, creative lens. You'll finish the course feeling spiritually refreshed and inspired to recreate these ancient, wholesome recipes in your own kitchen.Please note: If there is anything specific you need to bring for a particular week, your teacher will let you know in advance.
