Designed for complete beginners, this three-week calligraphy class will teach you everything you need to begin writing beautifully with confidence.Over three relaxed sessions, you will build a strong foundation in dip pen calligraphy. You’ll learn how to use a dip pen and ink, practice the essential strokes, and form both lowercase and uppercase letters. Step by step, you’ll begin joining letters into words and developing a natural flow in your writing.As your skills grow, you’ll also learn how to adapt your foundation alphabet into different modern calligraphy styles. We’ll explore creative techniques including mixing your own ink and working with metallic and white inks, giving you the confidence to experiment at home.By the end of the course, you’ll feel ready to continue practicing modern calligraphy independently.The sessions are friendly and informal, with plenty of conversation and encouragement. Some students attend on their own, others come with a friend — everyone is warmly welcomed.What You’ll Learn:Week 1 – Calligraphy Basics. How to set up your workspace, understanding calligraphy tools, practice basic strokes, and write lowercase letters.Week 2 – Building Your Lettering. Warm-up exercises, uppercase letters, and joining letters into words with confidence.Week 3 – Developing Your Style.
