Join this gel plate printing workshop at Thames Side Studios in Woolwich and discover how to create vibrant and unique artwork. Tania will guide you through various techniques, demonstrating how to use different shapes and sizes of gel plates, paints, inks, pens, and resist materials. You'll also learn how to transfer magazine and photograph images onto your prints. This fun and versatile activity will allow you to experiment with colour ways and produce up to 20 pieces of art on A3 paper.
During this session, you'll learn how to utilise these versatile tools and materials, and you'll leave with all your artwork. Plus, you'll choose your favourite piece to be printed onto a mug, which you can collect from Made In Ashford a week later.
This class can be taken by any age but I suggest that ages under 8+ have an adult helper.
This workshop will be held at Thames Side studios in Woolwich, there is plenty of onsite parking and even a small cafe for lunch. Please see confirmation as to whether the class is in the Education space or Tania's workshop studio.
Parents/guardians of children are required to stay in the Classroom.. Please note seats are only allocated to ticketed workshop attendees (so you may have to stand behind your child if the seating is taken).

Suitable for adults, and kids (minimum 3 years old).

An adult must accompany any attending kids (the adult may observe for free).
