2 hours Location Bermondsey Class size 1 to 16 guests   £25

Join us at The Old Justice for a relaxed 2-hour cyanotype workshop in London, combining hands-on making, experimentation, and conversation, with access to The Old Justice bar throughout. You’ll learn how to create beautiful cyanotype prints—a traditional photographic printing process that produces distinctive blue-and-white images. Using a selection of autumn leaves, cut lettering, acetate sheets, and other materials, you’ll experiment with layering, composition, handwritten text, and illustration to create your own unique prints.
Throughout the session, you’ll make a collection of A5 and A4 cyanotypes, exploring autumnal shapes, textures, and ideas. Your finished cyanotypes can be used as seasonal cards, pieces of fine art, gifts, or keepsakes—each print will be completely individual.
What you'll get
A collection of A5 and A4 prints. There is no upper limit to how many prints you can make! All materials are provided.
Knowledge required
No previous experience is required.
What to bring
You don't need to bring anything; however, if you wish to bring a particular object to experiment with, you are more than welcome to do so.

I'm an artist and workshop facilitator whose practice centres on analogue photography, experimental photographic processes and artist filmmaking. I hold a BA in Fine Art, a Master's degree in Artist Filmmaking and Moving Image, and a PGCE in Lifelong Learning.
In recent years, I've specialised in cyanotype workshops, which have become a natural extension of my own artistic practice. I enjoy introducing people to this historic photographic process because it offers such a tactile and rewarding creative experience, combining experimentation, image-making and the satisfaction of producing something by hand.
A key aspect of my workshops is creating an engaging, relaxed and welcoming environment in which people can explore their creativity, develop new skills and enjoy the process of making. I deliver workshops in a variety of settings, including arts centres, schools, community spaces and pubs, adapting each session to suit the venue, audience and occasion. Whether working with a small group or a larger gathering, I aim to make the experience accessible, sociable and rewarding for everyone involved.
Alongside my artistic practice, I've been running creative workshops for almost ten years, working across mainstream education and independent creative settings.
Over the years, I've taught hundreds of students and workshop participants, helping people of all abilities discover new creative skills and engage with different approaches to making.
I'm currently based in a studio in Camberwell, where I continue to develop my work as an artist. My long-term ambition is to establish a permanent workshop space where I can build a regular programme of creative events and contribute to a thriving artistic community.
