  • 5/5 from Pasquale Testa, attended Jan 2026: This was a most useful and enjoyable 2 hours. Jeanette was friendly, informative and obviously knows her stuff. She was a mine of information on tips to improve mobile phone photography. She was very familiar with all the available options on my Samsung 22. I was the only android user as everyone else had phones The King's Cross location was perfect with photos taken both within the station and then onto Coal Drips Yard. I particularly liked the information about using the phone upside down and using water puddles to maximum effect I would recommend this yo anyone who is blnot confident they are using their phone to it's maximum potential when taking photos
  • 5/5 from Marie O, attended Nov 2025: Thoroughly enjoyed the iPhone photography course with Jeanette. Learnt so much about focusing on composition and lighting, use of the rule of thirds, shooting from different angles and framing. No more just pointing and shooting for me. Really enjoyed the editing session too, can't wait to put it all in to practice and impress my friends and family. Would definitely recommend.
  • 5/5 from Kevin Savill, attended Oct 2025: Excellent and very useful course, showed me how to get some fantastic photos using my iPhone. Jet was brilliant and I would highly recommend this course to anyone.

  • 5/5 from Genevieve Coben, attended Aug 2025: informative and friendly teacher, improved my flicks :)
  • 5/5 from Chukwu-Emeka Chikezie, attended Jul 2025: Thanks, Jet, I enjoyed the course. The content was helpful and worked well with a visually fascinating tour of parts of the King's Cross area. I learned to use key smartphone features to help me take better, more visually interesting photos. You also showed me new ways of seeing beauty, novelty, and quirkiness everywhere, which I can now capture with my smartphone.
  • 5/5 from Paul Ranson, attended Jun 2025: A personalised tutorial! Jet was super helpful and committed.
  • 5/5 from Angela Parker, attended Apr 2025: Luxurious 2 hours finding out how my I phone camera could work better and being indulged in my efforts to use it. Thoroughly recommend Jet as a tutor, getting me to do things rather than showing me how means I am more likely to remember. I now know of the existence of features which help to improve quality so I can research if I’ve forgotten how. She did not let my discharged phone stop her from showing me Snapseed and some editing hacks over aa coffee in the sunny spring day around Kings Cross.
  • 5/5 from Giusi Sanna, attended Apr 2025: Meeting with Jeanette was a lovely experience she helped my daughter to discover interesting ways of taking pictures and helped to capture some really good ones. Thank you for your kindness and support

Jet was so helpful from the start of the booking process, I couldn’t see a class listed on the days that worked best for us, so I contacted her to check and she added one in. She answered all our questions and showed us really easy ways to take great photos. Highly recommend!

  • 5/5 from Alison Harris, attended Jan 2025: absolutely. brilliant! loved the passion that exuded from Jet. My photos are a million times better than they were with regular complimentary comments from friends. Thank you
  • 5/5 from Guido Anino, attended Dec 2024: We absoluted loved this class and learned quite a few tricks that greatly improved the quality and creativity of our smartphone photos. The class does not assume any prior knowledge besides the absolute basics (i.e., you need to know what a smartphone is and you would ideally have used one already!), it covers different Operating Systems and both taking and editing shots. Jeanette's no-nonsense approach and easy going style is both encouraging and supportive and made the afternoon a real pleasure. The class also takes you on a discovery trip around the King's Cross area, and includes locales and landmarks which even we who live in King's Cross did not know about - the floating library was a gem, as were the bars and markets in Coal Dropyard! All in all this was a stellar event and I have no hesitation in highly recommending it.
  • 5/5 from Kristina, attended Oct 2024: We loved this walk — photography lesson with Jet! It was a birthday present for our teenage daughter, but it was enjoyed by the whole family. We produced some great pictures, too! And found out about many cool tricks and facts. Highly recommended.
  • 5/5 from Carmen Kearney, attended Sep 2024: The photography safari around Kings Cross was excellent. I'm a total beginner and knew practically nothing about taking photos. I learned lots about the photography features on my basic smartphone. Lots of tips to enjoy exploring on my own now. V relaxed and friendly too.

  • 5/5 from Susie Huntington, attended Dec 2023: Our teacher was fab. She was very amenable to meeting in a slightly different location at KingsX than was first suggested. I organised this workshop for our work team - a mixed group of science and data nerds, hoping it would spark some joy, encourage our creativity but at the same time not put anyone off who might think they aren't very 'creative'. It certainly met those expectations. Everyone in our team really enjoyed the experience. I heard phrases like "wow, that's a real game changer" and we've since been sharing our photos of KingsX to impress each other with our new skills and know how. Even the office dog, who is very photogenic, enjoyed the experience and all the attention. I would highly recommend.
  • 5/5 from Verena, attended Dec 2023: We went for our team's Christmas social and all really enjoyed the class. Very simple tips and tricks how to get the most out of your phone camera. We were all blown away by our own photography. I would highly recommend!

  • 5/5 from Orna Assayag, attended Oct 2022: I participated in a smartphone photography tour with Jeanette, A charming instructor with a desire to guide and explain in detail the possibilities of using a mobile including processing and editing over a cup of hot coffee. The weather was wonderful and allowed for fascinating photography, the results are interesting and instructive. At the end she send us by email all the documentation of the training, well done
