- 5/5 from Avril, attended Jun 2024: I attended the Cupcake Masterclass recently at the home of the tutor, such a wonderful, welcoming environment to learn in, she was very knowledgeable, helpful and attentive to everyone’s different needs. The equipment required for the morning was provided for each member of the class, 4 of us, we were shown how to use everything, most very new to me! We decorated 6 cupcakes in 6 different styles and were able to take these away. I loved the folder that accompanied the session, really helpful to have it to refer back to when recreating the designs, where to purchase equipment and supplies from. It was bought for me as a present from my son and his girlfriend, I’ve told them how much I enjoyed it and they are already looking at another of the classes to buy for me at Tara House Bakery!
Your teacher
Jane Bridgewater is a highly qualified chef and has been teaching and training chefs in further education colleges for 20 years. She was a BBC MasterChef Finalist in the 1990s and she started Tara House Bakery some ten years ago. She is now a successful baker and cake designer and wants to pass on her skills, knowledge and expertise to future cake makers. A range of cake decorating courses during the year will include vintage, wedding and Christmas cupcake decorating.
