I’m Monica, the founder of The Needlenook - a needlework club I started in 2024.I’ve always loved being creative and trying different crafts, so I started The Needlenook because I wanted to create a welcoming community where people could meet others, get creative and discover crafts they might not have tried before.I love teaching because I enjoy making crafts feel approachable, especially for beginners. There’s something really rewarding about helping someone learn a new skill and seeing them leave with something they’ve made themselves!For me, crafting is about more than just the finished piece. In our busy lives, I think it’s so important to carve out time to slow down and make something just for the enjoyment of it! The Needlenook is all about bringing people together to craft, chat and have fun.
