How can we help?
Q: Do I need to bring my own Design?
No, you don't need it. I will provide special design for beginners.
Q: If I still want to bring my design, what's the requirements?
Your own design cab be, portrait, animal portrait, land scape, still life, cars or flowers. * Provocative or racially discriminatory images are not permitted. If the image contains text, the chosen image must be mirrored. When we print all images appears in the opposite direction, mirrored (for example, we look different in a mirror and in a photograph). The image you bring must be in A5 format and black&white.
Q: How do I get my painting home?
After the printing process is completed, we will package it carefully and you can easily transport it with the carry bags I provide.
Q: What is the workshop program?
First 15 minutes , transfering the picture to the lino sheet. 1 hour 15 min lino curving time. 25 mins printing step. 5 min for packaging.
Q: What ages is this class suitable for?
A: Adults & 10+ years. Adult accompaniment is not required.
Q: What's the cancellation policy?

Your teacher will offer step-by-step guidance through the entire process, ensuring you feel comfortable and inspired. You will learn:The fundamentals of linocut printmaking, including how to safely use all the tools.How to develop your initial idea into a bold design suitable for printing.The practical skills of carving and inking your own unique linocut block.The satisfaction of producing a finished piece of art to take home.You don't need any previous experience, just a desire to try something new. The aim of this workshop is to help you find a sense of creative achievement in a relaxed environment.You’ll leave the session with improved hand-eye coordination, a finished print to be proud of, and a new perspective on your artistic abilities.The workshop is led by Merve Kahraman, a contemporary artist and art teacher with over a decade of formal education in fine arts. She holds an Honours Degree in Art Education in Printmaking field and a Master’s Degree in Painting in DEU. Merve’s practise explores abstract and figurative forms through mixed media and printmaking, and her work has been featured in exhibitions such as the Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair 2024. With a deep passion for sharing knowledge, she brings both technical expertise and a creative, supportive approach to teaching.
