London-based Set Square Patterns is a creative design studio where pattern cutting and sewing workshops are taught by freelance pattern cutter Carla Diogo.
Carla has been a pattern cutter in the fashion industry for over 10 years while living in London and has worked for both high street and high-end designers, from women's wear to children's wear.
Carla graduated from the London College of Fashion, having completed a degree in Fashion Design Technology, and prior to that, studied 2 years of Handcraft and Production Tailoring, also at the London College of Fashion.
Carla has set up her own creative studio where she takes on commission work, teaches pattern cutting workshops, and also creates her own PDF digital home sewing patterns.
Sustainability is a big part of Set Square Patterns' ethos. We believe that everyone should know some sewing skills to be able to mend, repair, and alter their own garments confidently so we buy less and reduce waste.
