One-to-one Cricut Workshop

Join us in store and talk to a craft expert for tips and advice on your Cricut machine or project!

1 hour Class size 1 on 1       £28

Join a Hobbycraft Colleague one-to-one and ask any questions you have about your Cricut machine! Stuck on a project? Need help with Design Space? Trying to get to grips with using a new material? Our craft expert will share tips and techniques tailored to you.

This is suitable for all Cricut users, providing the opportunity to get all the answers you need about your machine. Whether you’re crafting with a Maker, a Joy, Joy Xtra or an Explore machine, you’ll be able to get excellent insight for all kinds of projects. It’s a great way to get a feel for your new machine or learn about features you’re not as confident with yet.
During the booking process, you’ll have the opportunity to let your Hobbycraft Colleague know what you would like to focus on during the session. They’ll be able to prepare for a personalised workshop that answers all of your questions.
You’re sure to walk away a Cricut crafting pro, ready to start making your next big project!

Bring a friend: You can now use the £5 add-on feature at checkout to invite a friend along with you, whether you’re working on a project together or you’d simply prefer having some company during the session. Your friend can enjoy any demonstrations given, and they are free to ask questions, but they will not receive the same practical, direct one-to-one support as is offered to the lead participant.

Please note: If you would like to discuss the Foil Transfer Tool, Knife Blade, “Print Then Cut” feature, “Curved Text” feature or “Offset” we would recommend that you book on to one of our online one-to-one Cricut workshop sessions as we are currently unable to demonstrate these features in-store due to them being for the desktop version of Design Space only.

Please note, our workshop spaces in some stores are located in open areas and we will endeavour to minimise interruption from other crafters.

Keeping everyone safe

At Hobbycraft, we want our workshops to be enjoyable, inclusive, and safe for everyone. Some workshops are suitable for children, and where this is the case, a parent or legal guardian is responsible for supervising their child at all times unless the workshop is clearly stated as suitable for independent attendance. Our colleagues and instructors are there to guide the activity and support a safe environment, and if any concerns about safety or wellbeing arise during a workshop, these should be raised with a member of staff straight away.

  • 5/5 from Miss Heather Garton, attended Mar 2026: The session was really good, learnt everything that I wanted to and Flint gave me a much better understanding of the Cricut machines and which one might be best for me. Would recommend to anyone thinking of getting a Cricut. Thanks Flint!
  • 5/5 from Stephanie, attended Mar 2026: Thank you Flint for a fantastic workshop for cricut. We had a lovely time learning about different projects. It was very exciting and we are likely going to purchase one soon. I bought a voucher via the website for an xmas present for my Mum and I have to say that using the voucher was not user friendly. It was very difficult to book a workshop through the website but we eventually were helped by the customer service number.
  • 5/5 from Marie McGhee, attended Oct 2025: Excellent time had, I was shown everything I wanted and more. Things I didn't even no possible. Thank you
  • 5/5 from Julie Griffin, attended Mar 2025: I was gifted a new cricut maker 3 for Xmas and it's still in the box. I had no idea what to do with it. I was given I structions on the basics of the machine and a more I. Depth tutorial on how to use design space. Victoria was great, very knowledgeable and managed to show various techniques within the time allowed. It would have been good to have the training sitting down, found it uncomfortable standing for an hour.
  • 3/5 from Sally Wilson, attended Mar 2025: To be fair we were total beginners to Cricut. Victoria our teacher was helpful but Cricut Design Soace had been updated, so couldn’t be used at first, another colleague sorted this out and eventually she was able to show us some vinyl cuttings which were great. She showed us a gift tag and creating text using different fonts and cutting out an image on the gift tag using the Maker 4. We intend to practice on Design Space before deciding on a machine and will research this on YouTube. Victoria was helpful but a bit of time wasted at the beginning, but it was very informative. Thank you Victoria.
