We got to make x4 different pieces and had a glass of wine, it was super relaxed and the time flew by. Can't wait to see the finished pieces when they're fired and glazed. Would recommend to anyone, thanks Mihaly!

We are sad that the studio is moving out of New Cross however we have now caught an itch to learn more and Mihaly will most definitely be top of our list. We haven’t stopped talking about how fun our class was and how absolutely hilarious our time with Mihaly was, so we want to say a huge Thank you!! We cannot wait to see our glazed pieces!! (The price for this class was the best I could find in this area of london, however we believe it should be worth more ️)

He also made us feel extremely comfortable and made us laugh a lot during the session, would highly recommend to anyone interested in a pottery class!

The teacher was so kind and professional and we made a mug, vase, plate, bowl in two hours! Also we got to decorate our works it was so nice. We also tried the goulash and trifle and it was soooo good. Would love to come again for a special day️

We made 4 smaller items each and can't wait to collect them once they've been glazed. Mihály is a very patient teacher and made pottery look so easy, but we definitely need more practice so will look into join one of his other classes as well. :)

The restaurant and pottery class are all in the same sort of open space area, with the workshop towards the back of the room - guests filled the restaurant as the evening went on, it clearly has a great reputation. Cannot recommend enough. 10/10 idea for a surprise date (I was glad I went with it!)

We had booked the date experience for £60pp which from the booking seems as though dinner and a glass of wine is included however once we finished our class & had dinner only to find out the meal/drink was not included. The description can be a bit misleading. However the class + Mihaly were absolutely fantastic :)

We are not “arty” in any way and we’re complete beginners but our teacher Jago was amazing. He was patient and explained the technique really well. As a class of 2 it was perfect for getting the attention you needed! Couldn’t recommend enough! Brilliant way to try something new and fun! Extra credit goes to Jago for making us feel welcome, relaxed and making the class so fun! We will definitely be back.

Mihaly is an excellent and patient teacher and supported us to make eight pieces in total. I would highly recommend this class to anyone wanting to try something new or starting there pottery hobby.

The little studio, tucked in the back of a lovely Hungarian Restaurant has a relaxed at-home feel. We came in and got straight to work with Mihaly giving a quick yet instructive intro and all the help and tips we needed along the way. We both ended up making 6 pieces, which clearly showed our progression as we started to understand how to work the clay. After trying our hands at the wheel we were able to decorate our pieces with paint - we weren't rushed at all and had all the time and creative freedom we needed. Afterward, we enjoyed a lovely dinner in the Restaurant, which I highly recommend everyone to do. If you're already there you might as well!

He was attentive and explained things clearly while also demonstrating multiple times if necessary. Both my girlfriend and I had so much fun creating our little masterpieces and I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to start a new hobby or take their partner on a date.
