In this uplifting and transformative four-week workshop, you will learn the art of mixed media print and collage as a way to explore your maturity and youthful spirit. Through the practise of art, specifically using charcoal, ink, herbs, oils, and plant pigments, you will embark on a journey of self-discovery and personal growth.

Throughout the course, you will be guided through various techniques, such as mark making, ink printing, gelli printing, and creating objects that symbolise your own unique journey. You will also receive a PDF journal with reflective questions and a guided morning meditation to help you start your day with intention.

The class will run for four weeks, with video recordings of the techniques and weekly Zoom meetings on Thursday evenings at 7pm GMT. For those who prefer an in-person experience, limited slots are available. Enrollment and payment must be completed by 8th January 2024.

By immersing yourself in this experiential art practise, you will have the opportunity to rediscover yourself, rewrite the rules of society, and tap into your heart's desires. This workshop provides the space and tools for you to navigate change, embrace your self-worth, and create a tangible symbol of your personal journey.

Your teacher

Marilyn J Fontaine is an East London-based mixed-media artist who
creates magical, intense and witty narratives with mystical overtones.
The theme of her work documents the feminine aspects integral to her
journey and are heavily influenced by the rituals and practices of
Indigenous cultures and the connection of healing using storytelling
and nature.
