Everything you need for a great paint and sip experience: Art supplies, a canvas, a great host, an experienced art instructor, singalong music, and a great amount of fun. Also, all drinks are on us! Plus, you get to bring your painting home afterwards!
Q: Do I need painting experience?
No, painters of all levels are welcome at the Rembrandt van Wine painting sessions. The art instructor is there to help you at every step along the way, no matter whether it is your first time or your name is Rembrandt and you want to focus on developing a specific painting technique. However, you can also embrace your creative mind and paint it your own way. It is up to you!
Q: Can I join an event solo?
Yes, you can! We even hold some spare tickets behind for cool people wanting to come solo, just send us a message and we will get it sorted (even when an event is sold-out). Rembrandt van Wine is all about having fun, getting out of your comfort zone and learning something new while meeting new people!
Q: Are food and drinks provided during the paint and sip?
Drinks are all taken care of, they are on us. No need to bring anything yourself. Food is another story. During a regular event we do not serve food and there is no option to order it either. The event lasts for 2 hours so if you are afraid you will be hungry then please eat something beforehand. It is possible to arrange cold and warm snacks at a private event, depending on your wishes.
Q: Can I make a group reservation?
Yes you can do this. There are two options here, you can either buy as many tickets as your group needs for one of the events through our paint and sip event calendar. We can also organise a private event just for you and your group - reach out to us and we will give you a magical experience in return.
Q: Are there non-alcoholic options?
Yes, we both offer non-alcoholic wine as well as a wide variety of soft drinks. If you wish to drink something super specific, please reach out to us and we will try to make it a reality.
Q: Can I bring my painting home directly after the event?
Absolutely, the paint typically dries pretty fast making you able to bring your masterpiece home with you directly after the event. To make things even easier either bring yourself a bag for transport or buy one of our beautiful and sturdy Rembrandt van Wine shoppers on location.
Q: How does a neon painting look in the daylight?
Equally spectacular, but either very different or very the same depending on your painting decisions. We provide you with both neon and normal acrylic paint, ensuring that the painting can look both magical under black lights and beautiful under normal lights. We typically recommend starting with acrylic paint, and then adding some finishing touches and details with neon as these will then really pop out of your canvas. However, it is up to you how much of each paint you decide to use, and thereby how your painting will turn out in the normal light.
