Ballet Photography Workshop with Phoebe

Join this hands-on portrait photography workshop in London led by Virgilio, where you'll shoot with Phoebe, a professional ballet dancer, in an intimate group of around four photographers. Whether you're picking up a camera for the first time or you're more experienced, you'll spend the afternoon creating your own images whilst supporting and learning from each other.You'll shoot in turns, which means you get real one-on-one time to focus on your craft. Need help setting up manual mode? Virgilio's got you. Want to use flash or reflectors? They're there for you to practise with. If you're new to movement photography, Virgilio shares practical tips – think wider lenses (35mm works beautifully), faster shutter speeds (above 1/500 to freeze motion), and the art of timing a single shot rather than spray and pray.Film cameras and video recording are welcome. You'll own the copyright to your images, and Phoebe will sign a model release form allowing you to use your photos for personal work, portfolios, social media, and competitions. (Stock photography, brand associations, and demeaning content aren't allowed – keep it respectful.)We're meeting outside Bank tube station in front of the Royal Exchange big stairs.What you should know:By booking, you agree to follow instructions, be respectful to everyone, and take responsibility for yourself and your belongings. There's no physical contact with the model – verbal instruction or mirroring works perfectly. The group size is a target and may vary slightly depending on bookings. Model details may change if unavoidable. You might occasionally appear in behind-the-scenes content like Instagram stories – just let Virgilio know if you'd prefer not to be included.
