Nothing beats the smell of freshly baked bread! Learn to bake your own bread from home with the support of an experienced baking teacher with this live online bread-making class. During the morning, you'll learn a series of bread-making methods, giving you the skills, techniques, and knowledge you need to make different kinds of bread confidently at home.
You'll learn the basics of bread-making in a relaxed and fun-filled atmosphere. You don't need any prior bread-making knowledge to try this class, as it's entirely beginner-friendly. It's a great opportunity to learn to make bread alongside other new bakers!
Throughout your bread-making course, you'll learn the essential bread-making techniques of kneading, proving, and shaping. No fancy equipment is needed, as you'll be taught how to do it all by hand.
Learn the basics of bread-making, including kneading, proving, and shaping. You'll learn to bake a tasty bloomer loaf. Whilst the bloomer loaf is proving, we will use a more ‘wet’ dough as you learn how to bake the Italian favourite of focaccia, flavoured with rosemary and sea salt.
The class lasts around 3 hours, which includes the proving and baking, but during the morning, there will be some time for a break.
By the end of your online bread-making class, you'll have a host of new essential baking skills, as well as two new bread recipes to add to your repertoire. Enjoy your baked goods at home with the confidence to bake bread independently.

Hi, I'm Caroline Bailey, the founder, award winning wedding cake designer and heart and soul behind Hunkington House Kitchen.
My baking love started at an early age, all thanks to my amazing Mum and Nan, who were fantastic in the kitchen, always creating something delicious. Learning from them at an early age sparked a passion that has led me on a long path to where I am now.
This baking journey has been full of excitement from baking with John Whaite, cooking with Monica Galetti, achieving third place in the Great Shropshire Bake Off and also getting through to the final 70 applicants for the Great British Bake Off. Even though I didn’t get selected for the show it gave me the confidence and drive to pursue my dream career in baking.
Having spent years perfecting my baking skills attending classes, creating the most amazing cakes for weddings and other special occasions I have taken my love and passion, helping people to create and bake deliciousness, through fun interactive experiences.
The dream baking experience for me is where people feel at ease, it's interactive and you get to learn in a fun and engaging way. So in a nutshell that's what I deliver.
It is the best job to have when you get to see first hand how proud people are of their creations and their very own baking delights, even the ones who started nervous. My aim is to create a memorable experience for everyone to enjoy and I want my classes to ooze that specialness too.
Yes I'm a little bit obsessed with all the baking delights you can create yourself, so if I can spark memories to treasure, just like the ones I hold dearly then I'm doing it right! Whether it's an experience for a public class, a private group or 1-2-1, the baking fun is waiting to be explored.
