I was born and raised in Guangdong, China. I found my passion in art during my youth and started practising pottery making in London since 2011.
After watching the first series of The Great Pottery Throw Down TV show, I was inspired to become a craft potter, and I participated in the second series of the show, where I finished as a finalist.
My works are largely influenced by traditional Chinese and Japanese culture, inspired by the interaction of nature and human to promote flow of energy and harmony. My recent works are mostly functional items with a combination of wheel throwing and hand building techniques. I am particularly interested in alternative firing methods such as Raku and pit-firing. I regularly exhibit and sell my works in various conventions nationwide.
