Join this pottery painting workshop near Waterloo, London, and spend an afternoon switching off and getting wonderfully hands-on with colour, ceramics, and creativity.
These small, friendly sessions are made for beginners and experienced painters alike – whether you're after a fun date night, a birthday celebration, a catch-up with friends, or simply a calming slice of your week. With a maximum of six people per session, it's an intimate, low-pressure experience where fun genuinely comes first.
Once you're settled in, you'll choose your ceramic piece from a range of options in the studio – mugs, espresso cups, bowls, plates, candle holders, decorative pieces, and more. Then it's over to you: pick your colours, try out different techniques, and paint at your own pace. Everything you need is provided, including all paints, tools, glazing, and kiln firing. You'll leave with something entirely one-of-a-kind – a handmade keepsake that you painted yourself.
Your finished pieces are professionally glazed and kiln-fired after the session, ready to collect from the studio around 14 days later.

Please note: Public dates for this class require at least 2 guests to run. In the unlikely event that we don't reach this number, we'll cancel the class; in this case we'll inform you and allow you to get a refund or reschedule, so please watch your email/SMS one day prior to the class.

Doppiocotto was founded in 2013 by Bora Cetin, a ceramic artist deeply passionate about his craft, dedicating long hours to shaping each piece by hand.
Focusing on form and material, Doppiocotto produces modern, original, and finely crafted pieces. The brand explores the harmony of contrasts by adding movement to simple forms and stillness to dynamic shapes, incorporating a playful touch to bring joy to people’s everyday lives.
The story behind the brand name comes from the Italian word 'Doppiocotto' which means 'double-cooked', linked with the production process.
The clay goes through two firing processes. After the shaping phase comes the drying and baking phase. This is called biscuit. Then the glaze is applied on it and it is fired again. This is how the finished product is reached.
