Join professional felter Liberty Goodswen as she shares her best tips and tricks for needle felting in this creative textile art workshop. She has over 15 years worth of experience to share with you and plenty of expert tips and tricks to help you master felting.
Liberty will be making alongside you so you can easily follow her demonstrations and ask plenty of questions as you work on each step. Even if you've never picked up a needle felting needle in your life, you can easily jump in and start making a unique piece of beautiful home decor.
You'll be introduced to different wools, their textures, and how to use them for different effects. Once you're sleeping creature has been bought to life, you can then display it in an embroidery hoop or frame it.

Park in the main Langport car par - towards the river where it is free all day. Then walk down the high street - we are abou the fifth building down on the right with a sign high up with a sheep on it.

Nestled in Somerset, England - at the centre of the Levels - lies Langport along the River Parrett. Halfway up the High Street you will find us, Goodswen & Belle.
We began as a small felting studio working from a village a few miles away, then after a few years, we took the jump to open our own studio, gallery and shop.
Our wish is to provide an outlet for local artists and creative people which is why we have an eclectic selection from soft furnishings to children's books as well as having the open felting studio where I work so customers can see the process, ask questions and maybe even be inspired to have a go at a workshop either in the shop or online.
