  • 5/5 from Padmaparna Ghosh, attended Aug 2021: It was a privilege to be let into Armi's outstanding studio and garden. I learnt a lot, several techniques, in a very short time. Yet, it didn't feel quite rushed. If you are interested in expanding your imagination into printing, and try some abstraction of your ideas. Thanks Armi, and thank you for the cake and coffee.
  • 5/5 from Gloria Bowie, attended Aug 2021: Wonderful afternoon learning a new skill in beautiful surroundings, and fabulous teacher. Course was very informative and friendly and one was made to feel comfortable and at ease. Will definitely recommend to friends.
  • 5/5 from Rosie Moore, attended Sep 2020: Very informative and thorough.
  • 5/5 from Paula Dale, attended Feb 2020: I came home today from Armi's Mono-printing workshop with a spring in my step, a big smile on my face and bursting with inspiration and motivation to carry on exploring! Armi's home was beautiful, her studio is what we all dream of having and she was relaxed and clear in her instruction. It was a well-needed reminder, not only of mono-printing as a technique but of how to freely experiment with materials & pattern like I used to in those art college days. I could easily have spent the rest of the day there to continue so I will definitely be going back! I'm excited to get back to my desk tomorrow and carry on.... Thankyou Armi and everyone else who was there today!
  • 5/5 from Sue Glasgow, attended Feb 2020: Brilliant workshop! Excellent teaching and introduction to mono printing. Amri is just wonderful full of inspiring methods which comes from a huge knowledge of printing processes. All students were incredibly engaged and interested and supportive of each others creative masterpieces ;-) Great fun worth every penny, the best way to start your day.
  • 5/5 from Lotte Kaiser, attended May 2019: Fantastic experience!! During this workshop in her fabulous studio, Armi leads the participants into the world of mono printmaking via light warm up printing exercises, great technical explanations and inspiring examples. There is ample of time to just enjoy the flow and create work independently with Armis support and creative guidance. Participants were surprised and stunned by the work produced by themselves as the process contains so many elements of unplanned beautiful surprise effects. Armis own enthusiasm about printing is absolutely infectious, and only adds to the wonderful printing experience!

I have taught in an art school to post 16’s for over 25years and I have run my small business at no5 workshops for about 4 years now. Printmaking workshops take place in my large home studio set in a beautiful gravel garden in East Molesey, Hampton Court. Along the way I have encouraged dozens of people to create and take home beautiful prints to be proud of. I have collaborated with Liberty’s design teams for their day away print workshops providing lunch and a day long structured programs. I’ve taken my workshops into schools and colleges and also taught at Westdean. When I’m not teaching I am working my own mixed media print and textile pieces which I’ve sold at the wonderful Petersham Nurseries homeware shop in Richmond and artist open studios and galleries.
