Industrial Concrete Table Lamp Course

Make a stunning lamp at this one-of-a-kind workshop in London.

2 x 2 hours Class size 1 to 5 guests       £120 (PayPal Pay in 3 available)

Join us for a hands-on workshop where you can unleash your creativity and craft your very own industrial concrete table lamp. This event will take place at The Mill (Community Centre), located at Coppermill Lane, London E17 7HA, UK.
Under our guidance, you'll learn the art of concrete moulding and design. Get ready to mix, pour, and shape your lamp base, to a colour scheme and design of your choice. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned DIY enthusiast, this workshop is perfect for anyone looking to add a touch of industrial style to their home decor.
At the end of the event, you'll take home your very own custom-made concrete table lamp, ready to illuminate any space with its unique charm. Don't miss out on this exciting opportunity to create a one-of-a-kind piece that reflects your personal style.
Please note that this is a 2-day event:
  • The first evening session from 19:00 to 21:00 (mixing and pouring concrete).
  • The second evening session from 19:00 to 21:00 (wiring and finishing the cured lamp base).
What you'll get
You will take home a fully functioning lamp base that's around 30 cm high. There is a certain amount of unpredictability in the making process, so we will aim for your design of choice but expect some variation. Lampshades are not included but can be purchased at the event.
Knowledge required
No previous experience necessary. You will need to wire up your lamp (adding a switch and plug) - so bring glasses if you need them for close-up work. Instructions and tools will be provided.
What to bring
Wear clothing that you dont mind getting dirty. If you have steel toecapped shoes, please use them (finished lamps are very heavy!) PPE will be provided
Session repeats

Hi! I'm Richard and I make concrete lamps under the name Lumiere Concrete. I started working with concrete as a creative medium in 2020 and have perfected a way of using it to create unique, stylish lamps. I love taking a material that is often associated with coldness and impersonality and using it to create sources of warmth and ambience.
