Your teacher
I started working with clay because of its therapeutic qualities. It has a way of allowing you to heal by just being present! Initially I made just for myself and then I started to exhibit and sell my work through galleries. I come from a creative background and also an education background. It was therefore a natural step to start teaching pottery and help others to have the same calming experience that comes with handling clay. I am a member of the Society of Designer Craftsmen, a very special guild promoting the progress of crafts and designers. I am also a member of ArtCan a collective of artists. My personal work is sculptural and explores the idea of movement and mixed media.
