  • 5/5 from Sally Anderson, attended May 2024: Matthew has an excellent way of passing on help and wisdom from his depth of knowledge and experience, whilst also being very practical, friendly and making ud feel at ease. Matthew also a great knowledge of the area and its wildlife which allowed him to be flexible. This was very necessary given the rain, as well as the clouds that sadly eliminated any chance of sunset shots. A very enjoyable workshop amd I would recommend it!Thank you Matthew.
  • 5/5 from Caroline Roberts, attended May 2024: I went to Matthew's wildlife photography workshop in Richmond Park a few weeks ago and I can honestly say that it was the best course I've been on in terms of how much I learned about how to get the most out of my camera. The course content was comprehensive and well thought through and Matthew had time and expertise to help all of us with our individual questions.
  • 5/5 from Jane Jenkins, attended May 2024: I enjoyed an informative workshop with Matt in Richmond Park, learning how to set up and use my camera to take wildlife pictures. It refreshed and put into practice quite a few areas of photography I had touched on in an introduction to photography course I had taken a couple of years ago, which was very welcome, leaving me more confident to use more of the features of my DSLR camera.I took some pictures which exceeded my expectations of my photography skills with Matts guidance, which Im very pleased with. Thank you Matt.

  • 5/5 from Beckie Keating, attended Jan 2024: Outstanding! Very attentive and knowledgeable in his field. He never tells you how you MUST shoot, but advises how he would shoot the shot and explains competently how you can adjust that to your own personal style. Teaches in a way that is suitable for all learning types and never makes you feel silly For asking a question and ensures he shares the relevant knowledge with the whole group of the questions that might help us all which is refreshing! Brings his Camera to demonstrate how settings work with Visual representation on the back of his Camera via the exposure preview option he has. I would 100% recomend Matthew to anyone wanting to learn more in photography and I fully intend on booking onto his other course!

  • 5/5 from William Lillis, attended May 2023: I have recently attended both the London St Paul's and Tower Bridge early evening class and the Richmond Park wildlife and sunset session. Both were excellent, the classes were relatively small and Matthew managed to get around everybody and made sure we understood the points he was making. It would be fair to say that the class was mixed ability but this did not detract from the session. Regardless of what level you are at Matthew gave everybody something to work on. I would happily recommend Matthews classes to other photographers.
  • 5/5 from Mark Rowlands, attended May 2023: This was my second course with Matthew and I can recommend this. Matt gives everyone attention irrespective of their experience, skill level and equipment and you will leave a better photographer than when you started.

Altogether an excellent workshop.

  • 5/5 from Nicholas Bowman, attended Dec 2022: Matt provided first cla ss guidance on a misty afternoon/evening as we walked around Richmond PArk. The deer obliged by standing and sitting as a herd. Matt's good humoured, easy-going approach made the afternoon all the better. He went through the camera settings as necessary, and provided guidance on getting the best shots. His own enthusiasm inspired us all. And I'm very pleased with the images I took. Highly recommended!
  • 5/5 from Dan Waller, attended Nov 2022: The greatest compliment I can offer is that I re-booked the same course a few weeks later - so happy was I with the photos I took! Suffice to say, Matthew is an easy-going, inspiring teacher, who pitches the workshop just right, whether you are a newbie, an enthusiastic amateur or a pro. Plus, his knowledge of the park and a seeming sixth sense to know where the stags were going to be made for a brilliant workshop.
  • 5/5 from Natalie Williams, attended Nov 2022: Fantastic workshop - Matthew has so much knowledge and made it a great experience.
  • 5/5 from Mariyana, attended Nov 2022: As usual, wonderful workshop with Matt. This is the second one I have done with him, and strongly recommend him. He is a pro in what he does, a very easy-going and patient guy who takes the time to explain to everyone about photo techniques, gives enough time to everyone to practice, it's like a walk in the park with a friend, who teaches you photography :) Thanks Matt!
  • 5/5 from Stuart Carter, attended Nov 2022: I've now done two photographic days with Mathew and they were both great. Mathew is knowledgeable and encouraging. These days will benefit Beginners and experienced photographers.
  • 5/5 from Simon Prutton, attended Oct 2022: The Richmond Park session was my second outing with Matt and Ive recommended him verbally to everyone who will listen. Hes patient in teaching you techniques and will likely show you things you didnt know your camera was capable of. His knowledge of Richmond Park, and the behaviour of the deer, allowed me to get all the shots my skills allowedand the same was true on Skomer Island, which was my first trip out with him.If youre in any doubt about buying into one of his photo tours, dont hesitate - you will not regret it.
