What you'll do

Want to try some creative things to do at home? Try this online painting class for a fun and relaxing journey into the beauty of watercolour.

We will be painting a VW camper van parked up at the beach with the sea in the background. We begin by drawing the picture out in pencil, then we will go over the drawing in pen, and then we can get to the painting stage and fill our drawing with colour.

This is a perfect online class for total beginners. We will use a line and wash technique, sometimes called a pen and wash technique. You can do it straight away with no need for any prior knowledge or experience, and your teacher will be guiding you every step of the way.

Find yourself totally immersed in your watercolour art. It'll inspire your imagination and is a great way to boost your positivity.

You'll be coming back to the easel to keep making more amazing masterpieces. It's a really productive thing to do at home if you want to refresh your brain.

My name is Warren Sealey and I am a professional artist and teacher from Bristol UK.
I began my art studies whilst traveling the world almost twenty years ago. I went to Toronto Canada and began studying at a school called the Angel Studios, now called the ARA (Academy of Realist Art). From there I went to Florence Italy to continue my studies, I spent four fantastic years there studying classical painting techniques.
Since returning to my home city of Bristol I have been doing lots of teaching, one-to-one and group classes, as well as giving painting demonstrations for art societies all over the south west. I have also been busy producing work for sale and painting on commission.
I love painting in oil and watercolour and the subjects I like to paint are portraits, still life and landscape.
I really enjoy teaching. It's great to share the knowledge that I've picked up over the years and see others have fun learning to paint. I'd love to see you in class some time!
