The atmosphere was brilliant and everyone around us seemed to be having a great time too. No pressure to be perfect, just a lovely way to be creative and unwind. Would definitely go again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a fun night out! Next time I would like to try a guided one as the host seemed very knowledgeable and encouraging.

The session was beautifully organised, with everything prepared thoughtfully, and her guidance throughout the painting process was encouraging, patient, and fun. My name is Tanya Harrison and I am an artist and a qualified teacher. My passion for art started at a very young age as I come from a family of artists. I grew up going to my grandma's exhibitions, and with my dad's paintings around the house. Art was always just a way of life for me and my family as opposed to a skill that needed to be learned. As I got older, I developed my own style, and through formal education, I developed a love for portraits. At university, I studied primary school education with an art specialism. I qualified as a teacher and although I taught all subjects, I incorporated art as much as I could across all subjects. I was always praised for my relationship with my students, as even the toughest characters took a shine to me.
I was on the Next Big Thing TV show for my artwork, where I won the bursary prize in 2021. Now, I have developed a concrete style of my own, I am commissioned to sell portraits, I teach art at a hospital school, and I tutor private art lessons.
