Join us for a delightful hands-on Turkish Coffee Class, where you'll discover the history and tradition of brewing authentic Turkish coffee and its variations (Traditional, Coquettish and Tatar Turkish Coffee) accompanied by Turkish delight tasting with different flavours. This in-person event will take place at the 'a cup of coffee London' Workshop. Immerse yourself in the rich flavours and cultural heritage of this beloved beverage.

During the class, you will be guided through the entire process, from talking about the coffee beans used for Turkish Coffee to brewing the perfect cup. You'll learn about the unique brewing of Turkish Coffee techniques and the significance of coffee in Turkish culture. Get ready to savour the rich aroma and taste of this centuries-old tradition.

Whether you're a coffee enthusiast or simply curious about Turkish culture, this event is perfect for you. Notes:

*The event can be booked for private group gatherings, i.e. birthdays etc. You can bring your cake and candles. There are plenty of cutleries and plates to serve here.

*Please contact me if you are a Turkish learner and would like the lesson in Turkish.

*Turkish coffee is traditionally served very hot, and the cup may retain heat for several minutes.

Please handle your cup with care and avoid drinking immediately after it is served.

*Please take extra care while cooking Turkish coffee, as the pot and coffee will be hot; always handle the cezve by the handle and keep hands and clothing away from the stove to avoid burns.

*If you have any relevant health concerns or food allergies (for workshops with tastings), please inform in advance.

*Sessions may be photographed or filmed for archival and promotional purposes. Please inform in advance if you prefer not to appear.

For every guest, I plant a tree sapling in Türkiye on their behalf. After the workshop, each guest receives a personal certificate of their donation by email.

It was a lesson in turkish culture and history as much as coffee. I already knew some basics but learned a lot more, so my technique will be much better in the future.
