Plan Your Design
You will sketch out or arrange your idea on your base, with guidance to help you create a design that works well in mosaic.
Cut and Shape Your Tiles
You will learn how to safely use mosaic tools to nip, shape, and refine your tiles so they fit your design.
Build Your Mosaic
You will start placing and sticking your pieces down, watching your design come to life tile by tile.
Grout
You will make final adjustments to your piece and learn about the finishing process so your mosaic is ready to shine.
Take Home Your Artwork
You will leave with your own handmade mosaic and the confidence to keep exploring the craft.

D'Arcy brings the fine art knowledge and practical skills that ensures our workshops are educational and based in proper techniques.We care about making creative sessions feel approachable, well-guided, and enjoyable for beginners as well as more experienced makers.We started this because we wanted to build the kind of creative community we were looking for ourselves, especially a social and welcoming space for queer artists and creatives to hang out, learn new skills, and have fun together. We also know how expensive it can be to get into crafts on your own, so our workshops are a way for people to try new processes and materials without having to invest in everything themselves.Our workshops are informal, friendly, and community-led, with a focus on creativity, connection, and making art feel more accessible to more people.
