Furniture Painting & Upcycling Workshop for Beginners | London
Learn how to transform tired furniture using professional painting and preparation techniques in this hands-on beginner workshop in London. This session focuses on the essential skills needed to upcycle furniture confidently. You’ll be guided step by step through the process of preparing, sanding, cleaning, and painting a chair or small piece of furniture, with time to practise techniques and ask questions in a relaxed, supportive environment.
You’ll work on a practice item provided by us, allowing you to focus fully on learning the process rather than worrying about the final outcome. This is ideal if you’re completely new to upcycling or want to build confidence before taking on your own projects at home. This workshop forms the first part of our full-day “Upcycle Your Own Chair” experience. If you’d like to continue into upholstery and complete a full piece in one day, you can book the combined workshop separately.
